Over recent years PandaDoc has really extended the breadth of controls available through the API. It works very well in use cases for automating document creation, sending, monitoring status via webhooks and capturing completed documents. What I dislike about the PandaDoc API is that while it's functional, some features feel limited or require workarounds, especially around complex template logic or conditional fields. The API versioning can be a bit confusing at times, and certain updates lack clear communication. Also, error messages aren’t always descriptive, which makes debugging more time-consuming than it should be. Better developer support and more detailed logs would go a long way.
