I like the automation in Panaya Smart Testing and Change Intelligence. It makes testing a lot faster since we don't have to take screenshots ourselves, and it automates the process. I like having metrics and statistics on what's been tested and what needs to be tested. The communication between defect finding and developers is really smooth. When a developer fixes a defect, it automatically goes back to retest, and the tester gets an email, which facilitates great back and forth communication between testers and developers. The dashboards are also helpful for leadership to determine what got fixed, what needs to be fixed, what's been tested, what's in progress, and what's ready to test. It's all a really great package. The general tab where you describe your requirements or decisions is basically broken. It doesn't work well, as it changes the layout of your text. I like how Panaya Smart Testing and Change Intelligence allows me to solve problems by using specific values on tables to enter numbers and choose rows. The ability to select or choose XPath and locators stands out for me. I also enjoy learning how to take HTML code and use it in AI, converting it into executable code, even if it is a bit challenging for my skills. I find many click and recording problems. Users need to have experience in Panaya to understand why it sometimes can't be productive. Initially, I had issues that I solved with Panaya support. Also, some clicks on SAP and some keyboard shortcuts could be improved. I think users need better manuals to learn and improve themselves. The initial setup was not easy because I was an external user and was waiting to get VPN access, install the agent, and script builder. I used Panaya Smart Testing and Change Intelligence for the User Acceptance Testing of a project at Syngenta. Panaya was excellent at allocating thousands of steps in test scripts to a large number of testers within the organization and tracking the progress of each test. I really like its layout and found Panaya super easy to navigate and very intuitive. Considering this platform was used successfully by thousands of people within the organization, it shows how user-friendly it is. Having an easy-to-navigate tool made it more accessible for users from different backgrounds to understand what was expected and successfully complete their tasks. I find the defect statuses lacking, as there is currently no 'in progress' status available. Managing team absences within Panaya is also challenging—if a tester is off and their absence is recorded in Panaya's calendar, the test steps should automatically be assigned to a backup person, but this functionality is missing. Additionally, I would appreciate the ability to purchase licenses on a per-project basis, as it would help us better understand the real costs associated with each project.
