We published a DMARC record in 2024 and then never touched it again, because nobody could say for sure which of our senders would break. Palisade's agent went through the reports, listed every service sending as our domain, and drafted the SPF and DKIM fixes one ticket at a time. I reviewed each change and approved it. We knew p=none did nothing against spoofing, but tightening the policy felt like Russian roulette with our invoice mail. Having 14 days of pass/fail evidence per sender is what changed the conversation with management. We went to quarantine, then reject, and our billing and sales mail never blinked. The price of $9 per domain is acceptable, however, the allocation of sub-budget funds between different investment and advisory departments may become problematic. Moreover, their ticketing integrations are limited to Autotask, ConnectWise Manage, and HaloPSA and that means we are unable to integrate their alerts into the enterprise internal ticketing system. Basic pricing of $9 per domain seems to be acceptable, however, management of various client domains under various budget limits of our agency may be a little inconvenient. Ticketing integrations are limited to only three products (Autotask, ConnectWise Manage, and HaloPSA), so we are not able to integrate it directly into our project management system.
