Horrifyingly deficient product that actively hinders teams from democratizing data **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Gail B. | Vice President, Marketing & Analytics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2023 **What do you like best about Palantir Foundry?** From a security perspective, the ability to lock things down is robust, which can be good for companies with strict privacy/confidentiality concerns around data. **What do you dislike about Palantir Foundry?** Everything about the user experience is just baffling - navigating between simple things is confusing, unintuitive, and nearly incomprehensible. The learning curve is so steep that teams will never be able to truly democratize data across their organization, leaving teams unable to analyze even the most straightforward data. The environment is painful to extract and import data from, meaning your data engineers are frequently fighting fires. **What problems is Palantir Foundry solving and how is that benefiting you?** Theoretically this application is supposed to be for us to securely manage our big data and build applications on top of that, but honestly I don't see that we are accomplishing any of those goals with Foundry. -
