PaperSave has increased the self-reliance of other users - my team no longer has to look through hard files for audit or research requests and then no longer have to "re-file" the hard copies. (No more paper or folder cuts, either!) We have also regained expensive footprint space by getting rid of five triple drawer cabinets that used to house our hard copy donor files. Every couple of years we would spend valuable time purging inactive files and the process to recall them from storage was no picnic, either. We are a small shop so likely don't use the workflow process as well as other users, but scanning backup during gift entry is a huge plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about PairSoft? There is no easy way to review scans - something as simple as running a list of records that a particular user has touched. We have a growing number of legacy families and occasionally use temp help to do basic scans - it is time-consuming to repeat the steps to review and ensure that they have scanned appeal letters to the correct record (verifying a new user's entry or implementing a review procedure). I wanted to let you know some good news. PaperSave has an advanced search feature since PaperSave 5. If you have PaperSave 5+ then you can use an advanced search query to find all documents that were recently added. The results list shows you the record that the document was related to and you can even slide show through all the documents in the search results. Using this functionality, you should be able to review all the documents added within a specific timeframe to ensure that they were added to the correct record. We appreciate your feedback and hear you loud and clear. We acknowledge that the robustness of PaperSave workflow does come with a workflow designer that at times can appear to be complicated to use. We are looking at a complete revamp of our workflow module with workflow 3.0. This revamp will come with a fully redesigned, intuitive, and simple designer that will reduce the scenarios where scripting and formula-based configuration is required. Our goal is to maintain power and robustness while not sacrificing intuitive user experience. We project starting work on this design in late 2019 and expect to release it in 2020. The ability to store and route invoices for approvals being automated is great. What problems is PairSoft solving and how is that benefiting you? We are using Papersave to improve our AP system from a manual, paper based system to an electronic system. We have improved our AP processing time from 3-4 days to 1-2 days, as we are able to approve things remotely when executives or signers are not in the building. PaperSave Workflows are very robust and highly configurable. Any workflow step can be configured to have any actions including rejecting an item back to a submitter. The submitted would have to be known and your workflow can be configured to capture this information. Please contact your Customer Account Manager for more information on how to receive training for how to modify your workflows or for how to contract our services to do it for you.
