I liked that it felt like Photoshop in some ways interface wise. I liked that you can choose which tools were visible and not visible from the tool bar also was alphabetized. There are many simple photo editing tools. It offers RAW photo editing and felt pretty simple to learn. More affordable than photo shop, i prefer to own programs oppose to subscriptions to products. Did not see any options to save in CMKY Color modes which can be annoying if you plan to print images in this color mode. Way too many changes in shortcuts that you maybe adapted too in many other photo editing programs such as CTRL & + in windows does not zoom in. That shortcut felt like a reflex in many other programs to get you zooming into objects but not here. The program also kept glitching out with many pixels or sections of photos randomly vanishing when adding changes. There are many other better options out there if your a more advanced user in photo editing. Mac is also not supported with this program as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Though i would prefer Adobe Photoshop over this program as someone who used Adobe Photoshop since Photoshops 7 release. It is a software whose price is cheaper compared to other similar programs. A very complete and easy to use program. Corporate technical assistance It offers priority telephone access to the most specialized technicians and resolution of problems following an order of priority. It supports more than 250 RAW file formats. It also uses the same plugin architecture as Photoshop, allowing a high degree of expansion. offers numerous functions in a menu or in a tool window that allows us to perform functions such as darkening and lightening an image, automatic corrections, the colorkey technique enhances some motif of the image by giving it color in a gray background. What do you dislike about Paintshop Pro? Its reaction capacity is slower compared to other programs or it is heavier for the computer. It is not as well known as other programs. It is not compatible with Apple Macintosh. At the beginning it may be a little complicated to learn how to use it, since on the internet it is much easier to find tutorials about other similar and better known programs than this one. Large amount of instant effects and option to create layers to achieve photo compositions or dynamic designs. It allows us to share photographs on different social networks and allows us to locate the photographs on a map by organizing photos by location. We can open and edit larger files at the same time and the program has more memory management. It has a sharpness in lines and colors. It has a fairly simple tool design.
