I can create invoices, service agreements, just about any template - quickly. I prefer working with Pages over some "other" word processors because I can easily manipulate a document to look exactly how I want it to appear without getting caught up in boundary lines. I don't really dislike anything about Pages. As someone who originally comes from a background in PC - this is so much easier to use, especially if I'm adding a table and entering data. If you want to share a document with someone, you will most likely run into problems if they do not use Pages. I love that this application exists for Apple users, free of charge. It came with my computer, ready to use out of the box without activating or subscribing. I dislike the conversion factor of Pages. In order to save any .doc files you need to convert the format to .pages. While this might seem like a minor inconvenience. One of the things I like most about Apple's software is they do their best to make them as user-friendly and straightforward as possible. This is the same with Pages. Apple made this very simplistic in its layout, making it simple to focus on whatever I'm writing. Much less likely to get distracted by all the buttons and features. I don't like that pages doesn't seem to fully transfer in format when exported as a Microsoft Word document. When opened in Word, not everything is the same, and that's annoying. You open it and start writing/editing: no need to watch tutorials or demo, it's so easy and intuitive that it feels like the most natural task you've ever done on a pc. And in the end you really get what you see: you can export it in pdf or word (or save it in pages, of course). Managing pagination of long (several pages) documents could be improved: it's probably the least intuitive operation in pages.
