## Pages Reviews
 ### 1. Pages is a professional editor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gerardo E. | Abogado, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages is quite useful for creating professional documents, I always use it to make my business proposals, and Pages gives a more professional air than others, it is very easy to use, images can be dragged more easily, it has more fonts that look better.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I would improve the ability to edit the number of pages, because sometimes if you go a little over, it links with the previous page and then it doesn't let you delete it, but it's nothing complicated to solve, just by deleting certain spaces you left.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The quality of the work looks more professional, you can tell it's different, you can use default forms it has to give your document a better presentation.

 ### 2. Reliable, Easy to Use, Nice iCloud Integration

It is reliable and easy to use. I prefer the UI over Microsoft Word. The integration with iCloud is an added bonus.

Being a Mac user for over 35 years, I far prefer to be in an Apple environment than MS Word. Less cluttered interface and works great with Numbers and Keynote.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Nothing to dislike – other than the occasional moan when I send a native file to a MS Word user.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to jump in and use the predesigned templates - makes it easy to create clean documents.

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Perfect app for writing your documents, articles, etc. It has a lot of templates for letters and reports, and its new integration with Apple Intelligence with Writing tools is amazing! Also, that is free software.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

It could have more shortcuts for different options.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use pages to save some statements and sentences, but also when I need to create letters and export them to PDF.

 ### 5. complements my Apple world

How to create appealing documents and brouchers.

A lttle bit of issues are faced while using its formating and converting word file features, it is basically taking more time then expected.
The UI or UX of the software is still requiring some upgrades and OS updates for better performance.

 ### 7. Pages Makes Great Documents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse S. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Solid Macintosh program that integrates nicely with the other publishing tools available on the Mac OS X platform. Handles RTF, TXT, DOCX files and exports to PDF and EPUB. Excellent font support with broad options for styling and positioning. Excellent image and video support including the ability to embed YouTube videos. Good scripting support.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Would be good to have a better way of sizing document. The old "Page Setup" system is a bit archaic. The scripting support could be improved because it is the ability to create interaction for subscribe and publish type interoperability the sets the Mac system apart from others. Less reliance on templates that need extensive changes and allow for template parts.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages is used to make PDFs for publishing on the Blurb.com and Amazon.com platforms. Pages is also used to create ePubs for the Amazon platform. Pages performs as the perfect resource for creating documents of many types. There are excellent tools for adding elements including Tables, Charts, Text Boxes, Shapes, LInes, Highlighting, Comments, Bookmarks, Image Galleries, Spreadsheets, and more. Images and other material can be added directly from a iPhone, such as images and text capture. Mail merge is also available. The scripting available allows using other Mac programs with Pages... for example a script can play music and manage the interface to create an immersive environment.

 ### 8. Easy to use, has similarities to microsoft word, with an Apple flair

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meredith C. | Director/Editor/Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I love that you can make design boards without having to use photoshop (you can erase the background of images, etc). I also find it to be easy to use for typing purposes as there are lots of templates.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I find it to be clunky sometimes with multiple efforts to figure out how to do simple processes.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that it comes with so many nice templates to create things and that it allows me to make design boards of images

 ### 9. Pages is free and works well

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

nothing to dislike as far as I can see.... Pages is good.

 ### 10. Apple Pages: Best of Both Worlds

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mutaz (معتاز) M. | Lead Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

When you want to create a beautiful document with just the right amount of formatting options and don't have to go through a pain to move a picture, you use pages.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

It's not cross platform. I get why they would do that but it's what I miss when I want to share with my colleagues on Windows. Sure online version exists but it's not very stable if your internet connection is weak/slow.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you use programs like Microsoft Word, and you want to edit a picture really quickly, it's very difficult to get the intended result unless you switch to photoshop and get back. Pages has some neat tools in built.

 ### 11. Pages is an amazing page and document editor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I've been an Apple fanboy for a long time. To me Pages combines the best of word processing with essential features from artistic document creators like Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Publisher in an easier-to-use package. It functions well as a word-processing program for creating letters, invoices, memos, and presentations. But I've seen some amazing page layouts done in Pages that would have required InDesign or Publisher in the past. However Pages is much more intuitive to use once you get the hang of it. The simple interface belies the power hiding behind the tools it provides. And on top of all that is is FREE. Every Apple computer and mobile device includes a license to install and use it.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Pages are no competitor to the power user features found in Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect, so those tools are better for professional offices. It is missing some of the document-sharing features found in Google Docs or Microsoft Word. But for its intended audience it is really a powerful alternative for everyday use, and I would give it a try.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Goes beyond word processing and includes page layout features found in software such as Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Publisher. Having just a single software package to edit and create all kinds of documents is a time saver.

 ### 12. Pages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** WILLIE G. | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Pages?**

You can do anything I. Pages that you can do in adobe it's has amazing editing tools

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Nothing I dislike about pages software everything is perfect

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages makes editing easier for me

 ### 13. Pages : A really convenient tool for editing and designing documents

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya S. | Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I really like the variety of fonts that I am able to choose between on pages which give my articles, projects, and documents a premium finish. I also like the wide spectrum of colors that are available for fonts, although the same is present in other software the colors are really better looking and premium.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

It was difficult to find something I disliked. If you are used to using different document editing software, It might take some time for you to get used to pages. This becomes a problem for a lot of rookies.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use pages to make projects for my college and I really always get an A due to the way my projects are done by me. Teachers really get impressed even with a poor set of content as the premium finish mostly balances it out.

 ### 14. Why pay for Office?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lima A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages is much more simple to use than Microsoft Word. It is true that Word has more features, but most of which you will never use. This amalgamation of useless features turns Microsoft Word's interface into a cluttered mess. In comparison, Pages feature set is simpler yet powerful, providing us with a more organised interface and thus a better experience. I did my entire Master's dissertation and also my PhD thesis using Pages, and have not missed any Microsoft Word feature.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The way Pages count words is different than Microsoft World does it. This can become problematic for students. For example, according to Pages, my PhD thesis was 99,000 words long, exceeding the submission limits. But the same document, now converted to Microsoft Word, was -10% shorter. Such discrepancy hurts students because we are required to honour academic conduct; thus, we should not lie about word length, etc. Both companies (Microsoft and Apple) should agree on a common formula.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been using Pages throughout my academic career (10+ years of higher education), and it has served me well throughout these years. It is a pitty that this software is not so well diffused as Microsoft Word.

 ### 15. The most design friendly writing editor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirfath M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages facilitate you not only to just type Word documents but also design incredible pages, including amazing cover pages with a variety of options. Its quite smooth and sleek and provides a modern look.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The original format of the pages cannot be opened on other platforms, which means it is not very friendly for sharing purposes. The conversion to Microsoft word will lose a few design features.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It facilitates me to add incredible designs to my writing and helps make the document quite attractive with greater readability. It is also super user friendly and sleek which makes it much more easier than Microsoft Word.

 ### 16. Full Featured Word Processor for Mac Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages is deeply integrated with iCloud and makes document editing easy across all Apple Devices. Pages allows you to create beautiful and professional documents easily. If you

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The only thing I dislike about pages is the fact that it's limited to Mac devices. Sure, you can use Pages via iCloud in a web browser on a PC, but the fully featured app is native to macOS.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages allows for document editing for users that don't require a full Office license. It saves our enterprise a lot of money annually. That being said, it is only helpful for Mac Users. Non-Mac Users still require an Office License.

 ### 17. Fast and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Marketing & New Product Development, Biotechnology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I love the way Pages handles graphics. Very intuitive and easy to manipulate.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Not a thing. It's easy software to use and we have no issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

It will take a short amount of time to get used to different terminology and keyboard shortcuts (if switching from Word), but it's well worth it.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Pages to create our marketing PDFs and hard copy materials.

 ### 18. Excellent word processing application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Simple to use. Clean interface. Can create beautiful documents. It can create professional looking documents in a short time and requires little skill to navigate the app.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Being limited to iOS only can be limiting for some people. It does not integrate with other applications. There are some formatting difference with moving from microsoft word to Pages.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it because it because I am on the mac ecosystem. It is always available and always reliable to use. I can quickly draft an email or document to sent in no time wherever I am, whether at home, work, or on the go.

 ### 19. Pages makes it simple to create documents from any Mac, without having to purchase a license.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

The layout for pages is familiar and it works as well as any other word processor

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I think that the UI for it could be a little bit better.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages allows me to create organized notes from my meetings when i am not at my desktop computer and have to use my mac.

 ### 20. Pretty Perfect Pages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Pages?**

It's easy to use and easy to know what's actually going to print.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

If you're used to Word, there are some differences you have to learn.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make all of the notes I need.

 ### 21. A great cross-platform writing and PDF publishing solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

The way Pages works seamlessly across all my Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) as well as solid functionality on the web browser-based version which I use on my PC. Especially well- integrated with the Apple Ecosystem and iCloud

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

One challenge I have had is that the icons for the tools, document controls, and options menus are often a bit opaque; i.e. they don't always tell you what they do or what sub-menus are hidden behind them.
Also, compared to MS Word which I use a lot on the job, I miss the ability (or just haven't learned how) to run macros for massive document re-formatting and content find-and-replace.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Productivity with repetitive business letters, with the ability using any of my devices to duplicate an old document stored on iCloud, then edit with the new information.
2. Custom Birthday cards!! I love using Pages to take photos from my iPhone photo library, and import them into a Pages card template.
3. Resume and Design Portfolio - again, quickly integrate accessible images already taken.
4. PDF production: Pages makes it easy to make great quality PDFs for printing and distribution.

 ### 22. My Favourite Document Editor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Digital Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Creating visually-pleasing layouts in an easy-to-use app that syncs across all my devices and the web. I love the Styles pane, the ability to easily add and edit images (even from my iPhone), and the collaboration features are excellent.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The web version leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise the app is fantastic. There are a few Word features that it doesn't have, but they don't affect me. Obviously, most people use Word so getting them to use Pages to collaborate can be an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Try it out! It's free on iCloud.com, and it's free on all Apple platforms - Mac, iOS, and iPadOS.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It opens faster than Word, and causes less issues than Word. Inserting and working with an image isn't torture. The instant alpha option is great. I feel like the software gets out of my way and allows me to work and write. It's also FREE on ALL PLATFORMS.

 ### 23. Better Alternative to Microsoft Word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt H. | Owner Represenative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I was nervous when I switched from Microsoft to Apple, I thought learning a new word processing program would be a stressful task. I was completely wrong. The program is free, just as simple and there is compadibility to other word processors.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Some features are missing than Word. It takes some time to get used to how the program works and the keyboard shortcuts, and where all the amenities are. While I appreciate the the product being free as well as the updates, some upgrades have growing pains

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Spend undivided time using the program, and the minute it gets hard, don't go back to Word and just keep discovering

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program is free to anyone with an Apple, and any updates are automatic. If someone uses Microsoft Word, there is compatibility going back and forth. Also, I can use the program on my iPhone and iPad as well as my MacBook

 ### 24. You don't longer need Word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankelin Alessandra D. | Brand Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages is an excellent tool for writing. At first, I was skeptical about using Pages because I was very used to Word. Still, after giving Pages an opportunity, I realized that it was (for me) better than Word. Pages have great tools for providing any document with a suitable design format. For example, it has smart guides to help you align figures or photos, and it will be harder for them to be moving around the document as it will be in Word.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I don't have any complaints about Pages; it works great for my needs. Some people complain that it only works for Mac and that whenever they share documents for no iOs users, the document is modified. Still, I don't see this as a problem because Pages can export any document as PDF or even Word format.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have previously used pages for writing articles, making document templates, reporting annual accomplishments, event planning, schedules, among others.

 ### 25. Amazing word processor software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Etienne S. | Infographiste, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Very user-friendly, this software is far better than its main competitor, Microsoft Word. Pages allows us to use two work modes: word processor mode (like Word) or layout mode (more like InDesign). This is very helpful. Apple rarely does anything bad. And, in addition, it's free for Mac users.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Sometimes, some images are in tricky positions. I have to be very careful that any images are in "Move with Text" instead of "Stay on Page" mode (default option) in "Object Placement section", because images will not be moving with text, so it will create a big mess (text and images are all mixed).

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

If you are a Mac user, consider this free software instead of other Office Suite like Open Office or Libre Office.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've created few documents with Pages and it's very helpful for employees that not have depth graphic design skills. It not requires any particular complex software skills (like Adobe InDesign). So, even if I'm a graphic designer, my other colleagues can collaborate with me with this software.

 ### 26. Pages is one of the simplest platforms to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kobe P. | Author, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

The thing I love the most about Pages is how easy it is to navigate through. The format makes it easy to keep all my notes organized.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I wish that I could work on my Pages document on my Windows device.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages solves the issue I previously had with other writing platforms, where my files would be corrupted.

 ### 27. A great word processing software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Biagio D. | User Experience Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Actually Pages is much more than word processing software. For example it is possible to insert images independent of the text and also the copy / paste from Illustator works very well, with vector elements. I also use it a lot on my iPad Pro and all documents are saved in the Cloud.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

It doesn't have a great compatibility with Microsoft Word, even if I do the export in that format. Personally I only use Pages, but it happens that I need to export a document for people who use only Word and it could be a problem.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Pages is a very useful tool for anyone using Apple devices. Perfect regardless of the position held, even simply for writing notes. In reality it allows much more, especially for those who, like me, are involved in graphic design.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I take notes, write documents that I can also find on an iPad or iPhone. It happens to write work briefs or subjects for movies. Sometimes I also create templates, for example for company letterheads. It has many features that make my work easier.

 ### 28. Clean UI, fully featured product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie H. | Project Development Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Having used several other competitors to Pages for years, I have found the ease of Pages's UI to be so refreshing. Instead of searching through tons of tabs and menus, it's so easy to find what I'm looking for!

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The main downside to using Pages is just that, as this format can only be opened on Apple computers, I often have to save several versions of a document to ensure compatibility and readability on different devices. Usually .pages, .docx, and .pdf versions are needed. There's just a lot of duplicated documents on my computer!

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

The Pages interface and ability to open and save documents of many different formats in unparalleled, as far as offline word processors go.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I switch between Windows and Mac regularly throughout the day, and with so many different devices, it's really helpful to have a word processor that allows me to open, read, and save to several different formats.

 ### 29. Pages is easy to use and very useful!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paige G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

The ease of finding the type of document that I want to use.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

The options that are available when it comes to templates is more limited than that of Word. So that does Limit the upside of the application.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of not having to pay to use Word or any other office products. I realized that I have a tool that comes for free and meets most of my needs.

 ### 31. Apple pages is much better than MS Word

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Easy to use, fast and reliable. And the best part is that its totally free.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Keyboard shortcut keys don't match with MS Word

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Pages is highly recommended.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes when exported .docx file doesn't match the formatting.

 ### 32. Great alternative to word

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2022

Sleek and intuitive. It is not cluttered like Word.

It is not always as compatible as Word documents.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps create visually pleasing presentations.

 ### 33. So easy to use, prefer this for creating just about any doc

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I can create invoices, service agreements, just about any template - quickly. I prefer working with Pages over some "other" word processors because I can easily manipulate a document to look exactly how I want it to appear without getting caught up in boundary lines. What I see on the screen is what comes out. I can also quickly use it to draft templates that I can immediately export to pdfs. Magnifique!

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I don't really dislike anything about Pages. As someone who originally comes from a background in PC - this is so much easier to use, especially if I'm adding a table and entering data. I can add graphics and I don't have to stress about layers and where the object goes when I change the size. Its a pretty intuitive application.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to generate service agreements, contracts, invoices, talent release forms, etc in a flash. I can create a template once and then quickly access it over and over to send pdfs out as necessary for distribution. Its my go to graphic word processor.

 ### 34. Nice alternative to Microsoft Word on Mac

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Pages?**

It is free, It has a very intuitive and nice lookin user interface that completely matches with the Mac OS theme, it provides most of the basic features of a Word processing software. It has an awesom support for apple pencil.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Nothing much to dislike; it has almost everything we need for daily document-related tasks.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for reading and writing documents. One of the best things while using Pages is that it syncs with iCloud, so all my documents are available almost instantly on all my apple devices.

 ### 35. Flexible, easy to use, free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guido N. | Data Analytics Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

You open it and start writing/editing: no need to watch tutorials or demo, it's so easy and intuitive that it feels like the most natural task you've ever done on a pc. And in the end you really get what you see: you can export it in pdf or word (or save it in pages, of course). You can combine text, images, plots and tables (same engine of Numbers, another free tool from Apple). Best writing sofware I ever met!

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Managing pagination of long (several pages) documents could be improved: it's probably the least intuitive operation in pages. Importing/exporting in Word can sometimes spoil the layout (usually when the original Word document contains special graphics or effects).

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can write a letter or very complex, long documents with Pages. It saves a lot of time, especially if you have to deal with many images to be displayed alongside the text.

 ### 36. Love love love Pages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christyn K. | P, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages is my go-to program for anything having to do with word publishing, design, or printing. Very easy to use and even integrate from Microsoft Publisher.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Would love more templates (though you can buy more from 3rd party sites).

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Even if you don't consider yourself a designer, Pages is perfect for word processing needs.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anytime I need to type something, print something, arrange images or designs, or make a pdf, Pages is my go-to program.

 ### 37. Pages is great and just as easy to work microsoft words.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sehar J. | p, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Just as easy to work as Microsoft but some things are annoying to navaigate. I think that I like pages because its on the desktop of macs and easy..

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

How you can't access pages anywhere else but on the mac. There is no cloud unless you have other Apple products, which kind of sucks. I wish that you could access it through a drive like on a different computer but hopefully, pages will work on it. Maybe even work on that in the future. I think that with a few more years and time, pages will become bigger on college campuses as campuses get more apple products and i think that windows should start using pages as well..

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

I love it! I WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT AS WELL! I think this is a great way to jot down some notes. You can track changes to body text and text in text boxes, shapes, and footnotes (including document and section endnotes). When tracking is turned on, changed text appears in a different color from the surrounding text, and change bars appear in the margin.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The glitching in the app kind of sucks a lot. It happens a lot more than usual; I feel like where my computer kind of freezes because of the amount of space that pages are taking up on my computer. The benefits are that is it just as easy as Microsoft to navigate.

 ### 38. Pages can be a helpful Word replacement for Mac users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages creates beautiful documents that I feel have a much more finished and professional look for them. They gave an amazing library of templates to choose from to help get you started.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

There is a bit of a learning curve if you are used to Word, but like with anything, just use it and explore on the app, okay with formatting tools and you will figure it out soon.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been wanting to create more mminimistic but professional training documents the the team I work with and Pages has helped me accomplish that goal. With not a lot of effort, the training docs I have produced with Pages have been amazing and easier to create.

 ### 39. alternative to word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea B. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

It is a typical mac product that work smoothly. I can export all my docs to other devices and the connection is simply perfect. UX is user friendly and all features are interesting

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

It is not complete as Microsoft Word. Also, when I export files to .doc (the most common editor) it gives problem in compability so it is not really easy to connect with prospect

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a mac user is the first solution I worked on. On the other hand, it is just another tool to use, not really solving a problem for me. I normally alternate with other tools

 ### 40. User Friendly App

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Very easy to use

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to send my resumes out and to take better notes during meetings

 ### 41. Pages, An Easy and Accessible Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nelli K. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages are a beneficial application for typing almost anything. It offers ready-made templates for essays, reports, resumes, flyers, posters, and presentations. Besides adding text, you can also create graphs and tables to display data. In addition, you can experiment with different fonts. You can even add comments when collaborating with other users.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

One downside of Pages is that it often isn't fully supported on other computers. Some documents written on Pages may not always show up properly for non-Apple computers.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pages allow me to write reports, share research, and improve my writing. I can even express myself creatively by creating posters or banners for fundraisers and school events. I can also share my new ideas by collaborating with others.

 ### 42. Surprisingly a good and free word alternative

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

It can replace publisher as well, so it's a 2 in 1 tool (both word and publisher)

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

People are not used to it as much as wird and google docs. So sometimes colleagues prefer working simultaneously with other tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

It's a must have if you are a Mac user, as it has all the benefits of word and it's free.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find it really easy to use, and I can easily output to other formats.
Easy to collaborate using Mac, iPhone and iPad.

 ### 43. Pages is Better than Word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

The ease of use - it is easier to make clean and crisp looking documents for public presentation

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

After using Microsoft Offices Word for a number of years it can take a bit of adjustment to get used to Pages as the layout for formatting and style is set up differently.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating clean and crisp looking documents that look professionally created and have a feel of creativity to them is easy to accomplish using Pages versus other platforms.

 ### 44. Easy to use document creator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Alejandro B. | Medellín Chapter Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Powerful and very easy to use, their visually dazzling templates make easy to create from scratch and find the right one for the task.
As Apple put it, is a canvas for creativity. Pages places you in the perfect creative environment.
Smooth import and export of Microsoft Word documents.
Gallery that you can use as the basis for your own flyers, pamphlets, certificates, postcards, newsletters, letters, reports, and brochures.
Create ebooks has never been so easy, and become multimedia alternatives.
Cant be compared to a profesionall publishing tool, but is an easy way to solve the creative task.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Not suitable for basic word processor stuff, its more advanced or ebook oriented that for daily actions.
Getting used to the menus takes time, its has his own way and could be much more complicated to someone used to Microsoft Word.
There is not a lot of tutorials of youtube videos around how to use Pages, when you get stuck.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Apple pencil integration make's it easy to construct documents with.
The more than 70 templates has a lot of info and make it easy to start from a solid base

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create impactful documents, that need a more graphical approach.
It's my default app to create ebooks, flyers, postcards, reports, and brochures.

 ### 45. Best Word Processing Program out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon S. | Business Development Representatives, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages has a simple and easy-to-use UX - Plus formatting things is a breeze. Also, it works for almost every project I need to accomplish. There is no other program I would rather use.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Really the only thing I dislike is that it sometimes does not play well with other programs. Like if you take a word doc for Microsoft it will screw up the formatting. That sometimes can be annoying when others send you things to review or make edits on then you need to spend time reformatting so you can do what is needed. That is the case with most Apple products though. They want you to use their systems which is not a deal-breaker in my mind.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

I have not come across a project that pages could not handle. I sometimes choose pages over photoshop in designing a poster or something. Simply because it is easy and effective to use and I do not have to open a huge program like photoshop.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I literally use it for everything that requires a word or doc editing program - Writing reports, creating posters, making postcards. Before Pages using things like word slowed me down because have the time I did not get why it had so many options. However, with Pages it makes each project go by so much faster.

 ### 46. Great, simple software to use when writing documents!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | Renewal Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Pages have all the functionality of Microsoft Word in my opinion. If you can use Word, then you will have no problem using pages. What I like the best is that it comes with multiple different templates if you're planning on writing an essay, document, envelope, report, etc., which simplifies your life instead of having to start from scratch! It also comes free with your purchase of Macbook Air or Macbook pro, so you do not need to pay for it unlike Microsoft Office tools which are only available for a certain period of time. The Pages are there indefinitely and comes with all other tools you'd need such as Keynote, Numbers, etc.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Not much besides that, a lot of companies use Word Docs, and Pages is typically my default software for opening documents. Everything else is great and simple to use. Changing the color, fonts, highlighting, etc. may also be a confusing at first if you're used to using Microsoft Words.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

Make sure that you convert the file to PDF when uploading documents so that it's universally accepted. Otherwise, other users may have trouble opening a file.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made it a lot easier to create reports or letters since those templates are provided. Overall, this has made it a lot easier to create documents since every tool that I need is already included in the Pages software. I've also been able to take notes and create simple letters using Pages in the background rather than having a notes app. I highly recommend having in your Mac, which should come in there by default.

 ### 47. I prefer Pages over Microsoft Word anyday for anything.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colleen C. | Jr. Digital Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

Instead of viewing this software as boring and mundane like Microsoft Word, Pages allows for much more creativity and document work.
It also allows you to do everything Word can do, but with the creative/design aspect.

Understandable that Pages is more design-friendly than Word since Apple is popular with designers and creatives, and Microsoft is more for the boring 1010101010000 types of people....(backend development.......yehk).

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

Sometimes when moving around contents in my document, it completely obliterates my entire layout and template, and i have to spend time to figure out what is causing it and how to put everything back.

**Recommendations to others considering Pages:**

The platform has many similar functions that Microsoft Word uses, where Pages has a more Modern aesthetic rather than a Business aesthetic.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating reports, presentations, and handouts (that are very, very, very aesthetically pleasing), collaborating with copy decks with other people, style guides, and personal career development.

 ### 48. Great programme for those with Apple products

I think it's great for Apple users as they don't need to install MS Word.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

There's not much to dislike in pages. I operate with it on iPad Pro and it works perfectly!

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When my college I always used Pages to write my summaries, college papers and even used it to brainstorm in preparation of using keynote

 ### 50. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Pages?**

I like that it is Intuitive and very easy to use. You can make and edit documents quickly and with ease.

**What do you dislike about Pages?**

I don't like that it is not on all operating systems and devises. That makes it hard to transfer from one devise to another.

**What problems is Pages solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps solve communication problems. I can make invoices and announcements. It makes me more productive.
