But sometimes I think should be upgraded to a modern paradigm, not just notifying, maybe automating actions or a better algorithm to define what is really critical, because not everything needs attention in the specific, sometimes we need groups of events to define a real critical alert. The tool is very good and easy to configure and/or deploy, whether with local or remote sensors when there are remote sites within the company. We have been using PRTG for over 6 years for successful monitoring of network and other hardware. Hardware from different manufacturers can be easily integrated into PRTG. Changes to probes can be implemented quickly and easily. PRTG regularly informs us about failures and interruptions of components.
