## About Padre
Padre is a Perl IDE, an integrated development environment, or in other words a text editor that is simple to use for new Perl programmers but also supports large multi-lingual and multi-technology projects.

**What do you like best about Padre?**

Padre, I like it for different reasons. For example, the user interface is simple and customizable. I like that he has a debugger inside the ide. It is also interesting that you have an add-in manager that you can add even if they are created by you.

**What do you dislike about Padre?**

The program may become slow as you use multi tabs to open files and as a result it may close. I have also had problems to make a database connection with mysql, because there are incompatibility problems.

**Recommendations to others considering Padre:**

In my opinion this is a good IDE for web development, I think it will be of great help and it will also cost you nothing since it is a completely free software. If we have been programming for a while, we will love this editor for its variety of options to customize.

**What problems is Padre solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important benefit for our organization is that it is an open source software that allows us to incorporate our own plugins into the IDE, to develop HTML-based web applications. It is also important to highlight your debugging tools to do unit tests.
