## Padlet Reviews
  ### 1. good teaching and learning helper

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

explicit and well-organized. a vairety of modules to cater to different teaching needs.
very helpful for students to show their performance task and exchange ideas. Also great for teachers to collect students' work and organize teachers' self-learning expereicne or reflection ror resources.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

soemtimes the colorful background wallpaper is to coloful to grab studnets' attention, instead of focusing on the tasks.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for a classroom with many students, Padlet offers a place for teachers to exhibit students' works and to share ideas.

  ### 2. Fantastic educational resource!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Mariah D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Padlet provides me with a creative space to inspire students to reflect and share. The versatility of the platform makes it stand out for me. I can given students the freedom to express themselves via words, images or videos. They can leave responses to other students' posts. As well, i can easily embed my Padlets in my course Google Sites. Whenver I've had questions, I've contacted Padlet and gotten responses almost immediately, even on the weekend!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Some students have a hard time posting directly in Google Sites when I embed the Padlet. So I need to always provide the option to click on a link that takes them to a new window. I also miss the old Timeline option with an actual line on the screen! It makes it really clear to students what the purpose is of the padlet. Please bring back this option! :)

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It often replaces the in-class white board for me. Why have students write on a board you are only going to erase when we can use a Padlet to which we can then refer later?

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

>
We're thrilled to hear that you find Padlet to be a fantastic educational resource and appreciate its versatility. Your feedback about embedding Padlets in Google Sites and the Timeline option is valuable. We're always looking to improve the platform, so we'll take your suggestions into consideration. If you have any more feedback or questions, please feel free to reach out to us via social media @padlet. Thank you for using Padlet to inspire and engage your students!

  ### 3. A OUTSTANDING Resource- both the application and the tech support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It is easy to use, continues to grow to meet user needs, tech support is extremely helpful and responds quickly. I adore the fun twists they put on the applications (like the greetings) , notices of new features, and on emails. We need more smiles like those that Padlet provides! Whenever I have a need for addtional help from a human being after trying to learn via a tutorial video, I can ask for to meet with someone to assist me. That is HUGE!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

There is nothing I dislke. It is constantly adding featires a nd streamlining current ones. It has grown signifcantly in the 4-5 years I have been using it in providing professional learning sessions with educators and families of youth being servied in our school system. It is my main go-to sharing app. THANK YOU!!!

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved the problem of sharing multiple rsoiurces of all types from training sessions. SO much easier. ONE stop shopping! It also has helped with other apps going away such as JamBoard at Google. PLEASE do not go away!

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

>
We're delighted to hear that you find Padlet to be an excellent resource. We appreciate your positive feedback and are committed to continually improving the platform to meet your needs. Rest assured, we have no plans of going away, and we're here to support your resource sharing and collaboration efforts. ### 4. Kahoot Who?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jill B. | Assistant Professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Padlet allows me to ask my students all sorts of open ended questions and see their reactions in real time. No multiple choice required. Everything is customizable. There are options to anonymize or show authors depending upon whether you are trying to gauge participation or just get candid responses. Students can comment on one another and upvote, like, or even grade each other's posts. I have found so many ways to use Padlet from analyzing texts to collaborative problem solving to assessing prior knoweldge, even course evaluation.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The only downside of using Padlet is that you have a limited number of boards to work with.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet help me harness the power of group problem solving and allows shy people to contribute without feeling put on the spot.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your detailed review! We're thrilled to hear how Padlet enhances your classroom with customizable features and real-time interactions. Your feedback on the limited number of boards is valuable, and we'll keep it in mind for future improvements. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please reach out to us on social media @padlet.

  ### 5. A great tool for educators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I like the live posting. I project the padlet in my classroom and have students do a check-in, or even a get-to-know you exercise on the first day of class. It helps get students out of their shell and have a platform that they feel comfortable talking on.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I can't really think of anything yet. Maybe more teacher-related functions?

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me better utilize technology in the classroom. As the average college student is becoming more and more tech-savvy, it is of utmost importance that I keep up with technology as an educator, and find better ways to include it in my daily lessons. It is a great tool to get a conversation started. I love being able to create categories, and even include videos and gifs.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> "A great tool for educators"

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

everything is good. I like Padlet. There are only limited pages for free users.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can ask my students in my class to work together using one platform. Sharing and taking ideas with others.

  ### 7. my experience on Padlet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** milat g. | Lecturer and Trainer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Currently i am delivering online masters class, and one of the best the communication dashboard that i am using is padlet. It allows you to edit what is published anytime.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

There is nothing i dislike about padlet app.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet helps learners of asynchronous communication, in which it doesn't need scheduling and helps learners to share their ideas freely.

**Official Response from Julia Carnes:**

> Thank you for leaving this review, Milat! I'm glad that Padlet is helping you communicate asynchronously with your learners. If you have any other feedback to share, please feel free to reach out at https://padlet.com/contact-us - Thanks again for using Padlet!

  ### 8. Versatile Organizational Tool for All

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacqueline W. | AVID Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I like how Padlet has different templates to create a virtual organizer that is specific for the task. We all have our favorites and lean towards those. However, with the new templates, I know I can create better organizers that are specific to a purpose instead of using just one Padlet. Thank you for creating templates and examples. Some of us need that "push" to create something that is better suited to a project and has the flexibility to make it more understandable when you want a specific kind of collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

As an educator, I would like a place where a person's name is required to be on a post or a comment. It would be great if this feature could be turned on or off. I normally like to know who is the author, but sometimes anonymous is better. If you could develop this as a feature, that would be great!

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet is SO organized! I struggle with virtual organization. My Google Drive is a mess. Padlet helps me organize so many things and helps me to distinguish things that are personal to me versus what information I need to collaborate with others.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you appreciate the different templates and examples that help you create customized organizers for various purposes. Your suggestion about requiring a person's name on a post or comment is noted, and it's something we can consider for future developments.

We're delighted to know that Padlet is helping you with organization and collaboration, making your virtual workspace more efficient. If you ever have more ideas or feedback, please feel free to reach out to us over social media @padlet. We're here to support your organizational needs and continue improving Padlet for you!

  ### 9. I have already recommended it to colleagues.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It is fun, interactiveand perfect for Educators of all age groups.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I cannot really think of any reasons for disliking it. There are so many uses for it.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an educator it serves so many purposes and makes certain assignments very manigable to review and grade. For example, Padlet is s great tool to use an exit ticket. The kids love it because I can give them a writing prompt. For them it is managible and fun to add an image of gif.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your wonderful feedback and for recommending Padlet to your colleagues! We're delighted to hear that you find it fun, interactive, and perfect for educators of all age groups.

It's great to know that Padlet serves multiple purposes in your teaching, making assignments manageable to review and grade. Using it as an exit ticket with writing prompts and allowing students to add images or GIFs sounds like a fantastic and engaging idea.

  ### 10. Padlet gives me a clear and organized way to make our class materials available to my students.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It's all so VISUAL. I teach ASL so, having everything available, VISUALLY, just reinforces the development of visual skills. As well, everything is right there at my students' fingertips. They don't have to go digging through our learning management system to find materials. It's all right there in the padlet.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Right now, the only think I don't like is the fact that I am limited in the number of padlets I can create with the free version :). I'd make a lot more of them if I could.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My district does not purchase the paper materials for our ASL classes. We can photocopy materials and we do that to a certain extent but padlet is a great way for me to make my source learning & reference materials available to my students at all times.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It's fantastic to hear how Padlet has become an essential tool in your ASL teaching, providing a visual and organized platform for your class materials. We understand the importance of visual learning, especially in ASL, and are glad Padlet facilitates this for your students with easy access to materials.

We appreciate your feedback on the limitations of the free version and understand how having the ability to create more Padlets could further enhance your teaching. Your innovative use of Padlet to compensate for the lack of paper materials in your district is inspiring, and we're thrilled to support your efforts in making learning accessible and efficient.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us on social media (@padlet). Thank you for incorporating Padlet into your teaching and for sharing your experience!

  ### 11. Good Replacement for Flip(grid)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

The interface for Padlet is very clean and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The plan is a little expensive--6 Padlets on the free plan are very limiting, and the next step up is beyond my budget.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a platform that allows students to post/record videos and interact with classmates.

  ### 12. Padlet is easy to use and a dynamic tool for teaching

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rossy T. | Distinguished Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It is colorful and versatile. There are so many ways to use it in class and for out-of-class assignments. For example, I use it for students to write their ideas and share them, right there. Also, it can be used as a timeline, it can be used as a discussion board. It allows them to share a video from their phone camera, Zoom, or YouTube. They can also share pictures or music. It is amazing!!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

At this point I have nothing to report in here.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could do the same inside Canvas which is the system used by our university, but Padlet is more appealing to the eye and also, it condenses information in one page. In addition, it lets us share outside our organization, for example with students in other universities.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> We're thrilled to hear about your positive experience with Padlet's colorful and versatile features! It's great that you're utilizing it in so many creative ways for both in-class and out-of-class assignments. Your feedback highlights the importance of visual appeal and the ability to condense and share information effectively, even beyond your own organization. If you ever have suggestions or need support, please reach out to us on social media (@padlet). Thank you for making Padlet a part of your dynamic teaching toolkit!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I am not sure what I dislike about Padler.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet solves the problem of collaboration and organization in group and class work. It allows everyone to contribute ideas, resources, and feedback in one central place, making it easier to coordinate and manage projects effectively. This benefits me by streamlining communication, fostering teamwork, and enhancing the overall productivity of the group or class.

It also allows my cheer team to post fun videos and get to know each other on and off the mat.

I currently do not have any dislikes. The program is extremely easy to use.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows my students to work on art critiques at all levels.

  ### 15. Great classroom tool in-person and online

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Creativity in the hands of students. Mine frequently express themselves in GIFs. They interact with each other the way they would on social media. Easy to implement - I embed the Padlet in our Learning Management System for students to post or else display it on the classroom projector while students scan a QR code to post. And anonymous nature of posts for students who would otherwise be shy.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Doesn't integrate with our Learning Management System to allow me to grade students on their participation.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing virtual students into an asynchronous classroom environement where they can interact with me and each other. Also allowing students to ask important questions anonymously.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It's great to see Padlet fostering student creativity and enhancing classroom interaction, both in-person and online. Your use of Padlet to facilitate seamless participation and support anonymous student engagement is truly innovative. We appreciate your feedback on the need for better LMS integration for grading and are always looking to improve. Padlet's ability to bridge virtual and in-class experiences, allowing for anonymous questions, is invaluable for an inclusive learning environment. For further feedback or support, please reach out on social media (@padlet). Thank you for incorporating Padlet into your teaching methods!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I have to pay to add learners. No quizzes available.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lesson planning.

  ### 17. Interactive Teaching and Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Beautiful boards and canvases. easy to set up with Ai function

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

It would be good if teacher can download each image/infographic cretaed by student

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we are implementing blended learning so Padlet is a useful platform

  ### 18. Padlet makes my teaching job easier.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LICIA Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

What I love about Padlet is that students can use their devices in an interactive way during the class. I can publish the Padlet presentation, and see students' contributions as they write them. Students also feel confident since their comments can be anonymous, so they ask questions freely. There are various formats for posting ideas.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The price, for me in my country, is high. But during the pandemic I used it a lot and had the paid version.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see what students write at the moment. In parents' meetings, we ask them to post questions and we know them in advance so we can prepare the meeting and bear in mind their concerns.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It's wonderful to hear how Padlet has made your teaching more interactive and engaging for your students, enabling real-time contributions and fostering a confident learning environment. We understand that pricing can be a concern, especially considering different countries' economies, but we're glad to know it was a valuable tool for you during the pandemic.

Your innovative use of Padlet for gathering questions from parents in advance of meetings is a great example of its versatility in improving communication and preparation. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on social media (@padlet). Thank you for sharing how Padlet has positively impacted your teaching and communication with parents!

  ### 19. Love it for group competitions!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It is an extremely flexible and user-friendly program. It gets EVERYONE involved and I can do group competitions by using the colors!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I love everything, but I wish you would have EIGHT colors instead of six (I count white as a color), because this limits me to six groups, and sometimes I have large classes. That's it!

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes the place of sticky notes and of writing. It's very collaborative and it helps reluctant writers to participate. It also gives INSTANT gratification and motivation because everyone can see everyone's entries immediately. Yet I can go back later and grade each one and give a comment. Since it is visible to all, it helps with calibration and fairness.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback on using Padlet for group competitions! We're glad to hear about its user-friendliness and how it enhances engagement through color coding. Your suggestion for more color options to accommodate larger classes is noted, and we appreciate the insight. It's great that Padlet serves as a collaborative platform, encouraging participation and making grading more transparent. For any more suggestions or help, feel free to reach out to us on social media (@padlet). We're here to support your innovative teaching methods!

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Organization of content and ease of operation.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Could have more screen models to make it even more interactive.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease in teaching the teachers I train and the students.

  ### 21. Best "whiteboard" app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica S. | Director of Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Padlet is so helpful for virtual collaboaration. It is clear, visually appealing, and well-organized. Both for education and nonprofit implementation, Padlet enhances data collection and user engagement with its design, making it one of the easiest to use, even for non-techie people. Probably my favorite education app during the pandemic days. It is easy to use, and easy to integrate into anything with Google Suite.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Padlet offers 3 free padlets, but clearly is easy to make many many more, and thus easily encourages membership. There is some lag when too many participants try to engage at the same time.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet helps me to solve how to collect ideas from many different stakeholders in different locations, and ensure user engagement. This benefits my organization by allowing us to network and communicate effectively with our constituents whenever in a virtual setting.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

>
We're thrilled to hear that Padlet has been your go-to tool for virtual collaboration and data collection, especially during the pandemic. Your positive feedback about its ease of use and visual appeal is greatly appreciated. ### 22. Interactive collaboration among students

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JULIE MARLINA BINTI HASAN . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Padlet is a platform that allow me to easily create an interactive teaching and learning session. During my student's first exploration using padlet they were excited and mesmerized with the seamless integration of video recording, file uploading, link sharing and class activity of knowledge sharing, as well as responding make my teaching and learning life at ease.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The thing that hinder the seamless process would be the overwhelming setting section that sometimes make me forgot about setting it properly.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have not face any big issue while using padlet. So everything so far so good.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

Padlet provides a vehicle for teachers to provide curriculum feedback. I receive instant notification and can resolve issues quickly. I have used it in the classroom for many student activities: collaboration, group discussions, etc. It is so easy to use!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

This is a difficult question to answer because as soon I see a need, I reach out to the helpful team. They consider my ideas for future updates.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am responsible for curriculum for 7 grades (or 17 levels) for each six weeks. I needed a platform to receive teacher feedback immediately, and Padlet has been that solution. We tried Jamboard when I first started. There was no comparison between the two, and I asked my superior to buy the upgraded number of Padlets. I receive email notification of comments on the Padlet, and this has saved me a lot of time!

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

  ### 28. Padlet: The King of Visual Organizing and Posting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** OSTAFEW G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I love that you can create and post anything on Padlet, from voice to video to writing, and so much more! The dashboard is easy to use and it is so clear how to post: you just click the "+" symbol! I teach about this in my professional development classes to school teachers, I use this to communicate with parents, and I also use Padlet with students. It is really easy for both teachers and students to jump right in and use in their daily lives.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The only downside is the limitations of a compute screen or phone screen to see the whole padlet in a faw away view. It would be nice if they added a button to jump out so you could see the whole layout.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of multiple people being able to post different types of content in categories that are easy to use.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

  ### 36. Wonderful tool for arts highschool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terry D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

There are many things to like:
1) I can make projects in stages and students can submit their work
2) to be looked at by the entire class
3) that can provide a background for their own work
4) and provide feedback to other sttudents' work
5) I can add small details about what the particular padlet is for
6) and I can make it an assignment for the Google Classroom.
7) I can use it to provide examples of artists and their work that students can look at for inspiration for a particular project
8) I can also personalize the padlet to give them a different look for each project

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

It's a little slow to load, and sometimes doesn't show work that was submitted.
Window for adding one to Google Classroom too small.
When adding an assignment in Google Classroom through Padlet, the icons look all the same - there's no way to distinguish a padlet for examples from a padlet for submissions.
When making an assignment for Google Classroom from google classroom, adding a padlet gives an anonymous icon rather than a more personalized one - looks super clunky.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seeing digital artwork all in one place without printing, saves me time and resources (printing is expensive)

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Hi Terry,

Thanks os much for the review. These notes are very detailed and helpful. Thank you very much!

  ### 37. Dynamic platform for learning communities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulina B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

It contains different templates for specific objectives. Personally, I use it as a tool to share the products of my students' learning activities, mainly in collaborative work. It is a unique space to provide feedback on their work and an opportunity for all small teams to complement their learning. In my role of pedagogical leadership, I also use it to share and make visible the learning that we, the teachers who are part of the same academic coordination, build.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

So far, my experience focuses on the use of the Wall template. At this moment, I don't have an experience of something I don't like.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, I have no comments.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It is wonderful to hear that you find Padlet to be a dynamic and useful platform for your learning communities, both for sharing collaborative work from your students and for fostering feedback and complementing learning. ### 39. Padlet is awesome, especially for education!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I am a huge fan of anonymous feedback and conversation, this works so well especially in a classroom setting where students might not feel comfortable to speak aloud! I was a high school librarian and I would use this often as a way for students to participate in a library scavenger hunt or database research, I especially loved that you can filter out bad words or spam. Now as a college librarian, I use this to have students do a passive assessment of their learning, to share questions, to share keyword searches they have tried, and it incentivizes them to post and share because it's anonymous and low pressure/stakes! This is a great tool I also recommend to colleagues!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

It would be neat if you could insert in slideshow in canva or do multiple pads on one site/link? Like slideshow style?

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not so much business, but making sure that we get feedback for information literacy, gauge student's comfort and help them where they're at!

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Hi Jessica,

THank you so much for the considered feedback. You share valuable insights and we appreciate your thoughts.

  ### 40. Padlet for online courses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I use Padlet for my online courses every semester. I have students post introductions as well as examples of their work. It is a fun and engaging app and more visually interesting than the typical discussion forum.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Sometimes it can be visually messy or hard to find things. The reply button doesn't work as it should - you can not backspace or use del key. You have to post and then edit.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping students to see a multitude of projects all at once - on one page/board.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for incorporating Padlet into your online courses! We're delighted to hear that it adds a fun and visually engaging element to your teaching, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional discussion forums. We appreciate your feedback regarding the visual layout and the functionality issues with the reply button. Please reach out to us at padlet.com/contact-us regarding the reply button issue, so we can address it promptly. It's fantastic that Padlet allows you and your students to view multiple projects on a single board, enhancing the overall educational experience. ### 41. Multifaceted and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Padlet is a multifaceted tool that is easy to use. I could use it every day and students wouldn't get tired of it because of all of the templates and features. My students enjoyed the challenged of using the AI image generator and I regularly use Padlet for review or quickly collecting information. Also, since social media platforms are blocked on school computers, I can have mock social media feeds to add interest to assignments. Once my district purchased a district license, it is super easy to implement in the classroom and perfectly integrates with our Google Domain.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

While I LOVE the AI image generator and it truly helps my students visualize, it was frustrating when it got bogged down and refused to generate images for my students. Because Padlet is a protected environment, I would much prefer to use Padlet's AI image generator, but that's not always possible when I have back to back classes or large classes.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet provides and quick and easy way for students to share information about what they are learning. I like the fact that students can easily see the responses of their peers and comment on those posts if I allow it.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It's great to hear you're finding Padlet multifaceted and beneficial for your classroom! We appreciate your feedback on the AI image generator and are always working to improve our features. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please reach out to us on social media (@padlet). Thank you for incorporating Padlet into your teaching!

  ### 42. New Features Lend to New Ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larson R. | Office Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

I've always liked that you can personalize it, move things around, have multiple people share, but now! New features and templates have just given me all kinds of ideas and realizing that some of our webinars could be done this way and have the roster incorporated right into it is so customer-friendly. I can't wait to try it!

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Not being able to change the width of the columns sometimes on a wall.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Padlet is also our go-to for creating group birthday wishes for our coworkers. A birthday wouldn't be the same without our multi-greeting padlet from the whole group!

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your feedback on Padlet's new features and templates! We're glad they're sparking exciting ideas for your webinars and enhancing customer interaction. Your note about the column width limitation is taken to heart, as we aim to improve user experience. **What do you like best about Padlet?**

Multiple uses in an educational setting for brainstorming. Easy and intiutive to use. Able to link multimedia easily.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

There is limited ability to change font size or to manipulate the size of the boxes.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping students to quickly and easily make visually appealing mind maps to show knowledge.
Allows me as a teacher to access kids' mind maps and give feedback/support.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience with Padlet! It’s fantastic to hear that our platform is making brainstorming and multimedia linking intuitive and effective in your classroom. ### 44. A super useful tool for teaching.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

What I like the most about Padlet is first of all that it is very easy to use, it is super intuitive and it is always coming up with different designs and pictures to make visuals more interesting and useful. The fact that it is easy to use comes in handy for my teaching because I don't have to invest a lot of time explaining students how to use it and to upload their evidences. I also like that it provides different types of padlets or desings aplicable for different teaching purposes, I use a lot the shelf version, just today I discoverd the Art showcase, the maps, the timeline... everything is useful and turns out to be beautiful. My class presentations are a lot more interesting and eye-catching.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Probaby the fact that I cannot duplicate previous designs. For example, there is one Padlet that I use as an ice breaker and it is the same padelt I use with all my groups, but because I cannot duplicate it I have to design one for each group insted of just adjusting the previous changing specific features for the next group. I mean is a minor thing that I don't like or that I would like it could be possible. But there is nothing to really dislike about Padlet.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not speficicaly for business, but it is helping me with my teaching.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> It's fantastic to hear that Padlet's ease of use, intuitive design, and varied formats have made your teaching more engaging and efficient! We're glad that our features like the shelf version, Art showcase, maps, and timelines are enhancing your class presentations. Regarding your concern about duplicating designs, you'll be pleased to know that you can set your icebreaker Padlet as a template. This way, you can reuse it for different groups without having to redesign it each time. Simply adjust the specific features for each new group based on the template. If you need assistance with setting up a template or have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us on social media (@padlet). **What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I wish educators had up to nine free Padlets. I would use it more often if I could keep more than three.

I like the organizational uses... I have them for every unit for every class. I just saw today that there DOZENS of other things I can use it for - so cool... attendance thingy as a bellringer etc. The kiddos like the 1 stop shopping of having everything in one space.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

Can't think of anything right now as I am finding even more uses for it.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our district is making it hard by blocking our use of Google products (Google Docs) in lieu of using Microsoft stuff... but kids' authenticators don't work properly so having a place to have access to all of our items is WONDERFUL!!

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> We're absolutely delighted to hear your enthusiasm for Padlet and how it's serving your organizational needs across different classes and units! It's fantastic that you're discovering even more ways to use Padlet, like the attendance feature for bell ringers, and that it's simplifying access for your students with everything in one place. We understand the challenges faced with district restrictions on certain products, and we're thrilled that Padlet can offer a reliable and accessible alternative for you and your students. If you uncover more innovative uses for Padlet or need any support, please feel free to reach out to us on social media (@padlet). Thank you for your support and for loving Padlet!

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Students can correct each other. It is great! My younger students enjoy creating their narratives.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

I just don't know where to store student's work. I deleted their work After checking them daily. It is too much to keep it in my email account.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes, I can't open my student's work.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for your feedback on using Padlet for your daily journal activities! It's wonderful to hear that your students enjoy creating narratives and can easily collaborate and correct each other’s work.

We understand your concern about storing student work. Instead of deleting it, you might consider archiving Padlets or using Padlet’s export features to save their work outside of your email. ### 50. High school art teacher has students use Padlet for ART Portfolios

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Padlet?**

Art portfolios for my high school students both in class and independent learners.

**What do you dislike about Padlet?**

The lack of edit tools with photos. It would be nice if students could crop and rotate their photos. Also the "+" sign to add a new POST is a little "hidden" for impatient students. Two out of 30 students will begin a new WALL thinking that is how they make a new POST. The "+" sign is more prominent when using the APP on the phone rather than the Chromebook.

**What problems is Padlet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Art portfolios for student growth.

**Official Response from Atticus From Padlet:**

> Thank you for sharing how Padlet has been instrumental in creating art portfolios for your high school students. It's wonderful to hear that it facilitates both in-class and independent learning. We appreciate your feedback on the photo editing tools and the visibility of the "+" sign for adding new posts; understanding these nuances helps us to improve the user experience. Your insights on how students interact with Padlet, especially the distinction between using the app on phones versus Chromebooks, are invaluable.

It's great that Padlet serves as a platform for showcasing student growth through art portfolios. We're committed to making Padlet more intuitive and user-friendly for educators and students alike.
