packOS is a browser-based platform for preparing label artwork and connecting it with packaging manufacturing workflows. Built by the team behind Calyx Containers, it brings artwork review, specifications, visual proofs, and quantity-based quoting into one workflow. Start with an existing PDF or Adobe Illustrator label file. packOS helps users review the detected specifications and a visual proof before moving toward a quote. Details that cannot be determined from the artwork are flagged for review, so users can check the information used in the next step. The goal is to reduce the back-and-forth involved in turning a packaging file into a usable manufacturing request. The platform is designed for brand teams, designers, and packaging buyers who need to connect creative files with production requirements. Users can work from the artwork they already have, inspect the label presentation, and compare pricing at different quantities. Keeping these steps together gives teams a shared starting point for discussing the file, its specifications, and the intended order. The current quoting release focuses on labels.
