**What do you like best about P2 iLandMan?**

iLandman is web-based, which is great when you have a large or spread-out crew.  They have added tons of funtionality too that take it beyond the original "lease taking" software (which it was great for), to enable full land administration with it.

**What do you dislike about P2 iLandMan?**

It is a bit dated, and the workflow can be convoluted at times.  Also, the accounting "integration" isn't as seemless as it is often portrayed.  But, those criticisms apply to most others of these types of systems too.

**What problems is P2 iLandMan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a system that allowed us to organize and report on all the leases owned by the upstream oil production comnpany we were working for, including updating them when new working interest partners got invovled (assignments) and tracking special provisions.  It was sufficient for the task.

**What do you like best about P2 iLandMan?**

iLandman is good for digitizing land related documents. Great way to get rid of those piles and piles of documents in the file room. Also it's cloud-base feature gives you the ability to have an API portal that links to their database. With that feature, you'll be able to do a lot of text analysis and machine learning. For our analyst, this is critical for gathering data and analyze it.

**What do you dislike about P2 iLandMan?**

It was pretty good until I got acquired by P2. We're still not sure if P2 will maintain iLandman's quality, but based on previous experience with P2, we have a slim chance. Plus, P2 used to have its own Landman related doc system, but it was way over-priced and really not user friendly. I sincerely hope that P2 doesn't ruin iLandman.

**Recommendations to others considering P2 iLandMan:**

A better user interface would be good

**What problems is P2 iLandMan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had iLandman to solve our issue with piles of land documents. It has served the purpose and allowing us to analyze the digitalized results.
