I like that I can create multiple groups of companies that I am following. This allows me to separate companies by industry and segments within an industry and avoid getting an overload of information that I may not necessarily want at the moment. I also like that I can customize the alerts that I am receiving so that there isn't an overload of information in my inbox, while also making sure I quickly get alerted to new news. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Owler? I know that it is hard to get the information, but it would be great if more of the company data was accurate. An example would be the number of employees and the amount of revenue. WIth private companies, there is no real way to get that information though so I can't totally hold that against Owler. I also think that a nice feature to add would be a "Companies You May Be Interested In" section in the feed. Each company has related companies attached to it but this general section could pull companies based on everyone that I follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Owler solving and how is that benefiting you? I have been able to have a better understanding of things happening within our industry and react to them more quickly. An example is when a competitor is acquired or buys a business in a new market, we are able to react and try to reach out to customers that may now be in limbo between companies. We are also able to quickly react to new products being launched by our suppliers, as we sometimes find out faster from Owler than from our suppliers themselves. While I know it's valuable to the community to collect crowd-sourced materials, the questions presented are sometimes too much to manage from time to time. I was doing competitor research for one of my clients, and I found valuable insight in evaluating revenue data for those competitors. What do you dislike about Owler? When I was using Owler, I had a limit to the amount of companies that I was able to gather information on. I wish that the plan I had paid for (I believe it was ~$100), would have given me more than the limit I was imposed with my plan. I'm also unsure how accurate the revenue data is in Owler.
