OverpayAlert catches the invoices that slip past a bill-number check. Customers forward invoices to a workspace email address or drag and drop PDFs and images. AI reads the vendor, amounts, dates, invoice number and PO number into a searchable record, and three checks run on every invoice. Duplicates: exact, near and fuzzy matches across vendor, invoice number, date and amount, so a resend with a new number or a changed date still surfaces. Each match gets one of three confidence levels and a side-by-side comparison. Price spikes: each new charge is compared with that vendor's own history, with seasonal adjustment and a baseline period for new vendors. Purchase-order rule: flag any invoice above a chosen amount that has no PO number. Alerts go to email, the dashboard and Slack, each with the evidence attached. A flag never blocks or pays anything on its own. When the team agrees, one click blocks the payment and marks the invoice disputed. Growth and Scale plans add approval routing, vendor allow and block lists, an audit log, and QuickBooks-ready or Xero-ready CSV export.
