**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

I like prospect.io's feature of being able to obtain emails through Linkedin or target website, and the easy to create/modify the campaigns. 
Especially the feature of allowing users to add custom fields for a email template is great.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

I would love the service even more if I can get email addresses of people based in non-western part of the world, such as Japan.

**What problems is Overloop.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Together with Linkedin, I find, contact, and engage with my prospects with Prospect.io. 
Without Prospect.io, it would have taken more of my time to find and contact a prospect, and not to mention not easy as much to follow up with them.

**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

I love using prospect.io with linkedin navigator for prospecting purposes. It has made sales much easier. I also like that they continue to enhance and come up with innovative ideas. I'm happy they added the "unsubscribe" option!

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

The new update has taken away some options that we had in the previous version, but I have been told they are working on bringing it back. Another thing is the errors that happen here and there with emails being sent. Overall I really like using prospect.io. There's also no ability to view what links have been clicked on, only the general info that someone has clicked a link.

**What problems is Overloop.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are the ability to reach targeted prospects obtained via linkedin and growing sales potential.

The prospect extension tool has saved me so much time, it makes finding the correct email address for leads so easy!  It works especially well with LinkedIn SalesNav.

Nothing so far, it's been great. I had a hard time figuring out how to add my sending address but otherwise, it's been fine.

**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

I'm into my fifth year now as a customer (between my last couple of roles) and cannot rate this platform highly enough. Professionally, this application helped me 'arrive' as a B2B salesperson and just at a time when I was beginning to doubt whether pivoting from working as a marketer was a good idea too! Whether you work for a start-up trying to put their first 10 customers on the board or for a £30 million+ turnover business, Prospect is where you can put everything you've learned from outbound sales leaders seamlessly into practice. Above all else, I like that it's a half way house between automation and human diligence when it comes to sending sales prospecting campaigns (you aren't having to put your trust in someone else's list or a spammy bot that is prone to misfiring and making you look amateur). Their customer success team are brilliant and if you let them in, they'll guide you in how to write subject lines and copy that gets responses. I like that it integrates but sits at arms length from your CRM until such a time two way contact with a prospect has been established (nothing worse that a pipeline full of c**p!). The Chrome extension for Linkedin is an excellent tool for making sure you're constantly topping up your supply of new decision makers in your ideal customer profile. This is a big call because it won't be true in 100% of cases. But from here on in, if someone gave me the option of an 'expert-led' PPC campaign or Social campaign or using Prospect.io to diligently target the right individuals and book meetings, I would pick this 95% of the time. You know who you're hitting and you are always in control of what's said and who it goes to.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

Bounce rates. This is an industry-wide obstacle and one you just have to accept as a challenge from the get go. This used to really frustrate me in Prospect but there is a simple fix. By making it a general rule that you always add 30% more prospects to a campaign that you need, you offset what is likely to be the quantity of people you get an OOO reply from, or hard bounce because the email is incorrect or soft bounces because you've emailed someone new and not landed in their primary inbox.

The reality is you truly get out what you put in, so if you sit there and don't get creative with your messaging and don't invest time in structuring your campaigns and lists, all you'll end up with is great lists of prospects sitting there gathering dust and most likely decaying in terms of data quality. Like anything, you must invest focused time in figuring out what lists of prospects you need and what messaging is appropriate for them and running at least one campaign every week. If you stick to this, you'll gradually get better with your tone of voice and will absolutely generate so many more qualified prospects. And more importantly, they'll be the best quality prospects you've ever generated. Just focus on quality and not quantity and it'll be one of the best investments in sales automation you ever make.

Unless you're convinced the breadth of functionality exists in other tools (which I could never find to the same standard elsewhere), take the plunge but really commit to it.

I'm booking more discovery calls. Which then progress to more formal meetings and progressing the exact target businesses I want to sell to through my pipeline. Repeatedly and predictably throughout the year.

I have a huge amount of contacts across creative industries and Prospect.io has been such a help in streamlining our update process and also adding new contacts at the same company. Plus the integration with Pipedrive is a tremendous help.

**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

I vetted several companies before deciding on Prospect.io. While I have not seen all of them to be sure, I did look for around 10 of them before deciding on P.io because of its ease of use and functionality. 


Firstly, the value it brings is apparent. The software allows you to extract emails and easily insert those into campaigns. You may add your own list of prospects of course, either manually or through an email template for bulk uploads. 

Secondly, the UX is fantastic. Very intuitive, easy to navigate around. 

I like how the team as well has been very responsive. Whenever I need something, customer support always helps me out and provides relevant answers. Back end support is all too important, but probably often overlooked when looking for niche software such as this.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

I am not 100% certain, but I believe there are some small bugs here and there that lead to redundancies in email blasts. Need to verify.

**Recommendations to others considering Overloop.ai:**

Check out Marketo as well, although that seems to be a more holistic and in depth approach to lead generation

**What problems is Overloop.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have been able to not only source for leads, but also been able to A-B Test on lead generation campaigns, and the most responsive customer segments. Statistics are good and very helpful. 

Therefore, I am able to better identify which customer segments to target.

Staff is very prompt at connecting, I like it.  It has been a good experience.  Really helps using third party lists and avoiding all the problems other systems create for those who use these lists.  It is a natural part of business using solicitations through email (like snail mail).

The price is very affordable, the solution is simple to use and to explain to salespeople of all ages. The receiving server works well, the tracking too, as well as the management of duplicates. The prospect.io team has always been very responsive when it comes to answering my questions.

There are small bugs from time to time, but they have always been resolved quickly. The problems are more with the email hosts who do not always support multiple email sends.

We love the simplistic approach particularly with utilizing the Chrome Extension.

There isn't anything would say that we've found to dislike.

We struggled to identify specific emails for prospects that we wanted to reach out to.  Prospect.io became the solution. By utilizing the Chrome Extension on domains, we've been able to locate email info, that was not otherwise found manually. We've even stacked with a couple of LinkedIn tools to REALLY ramp up the success rate of finding contacts and emails.

**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

What we like most is that this elegant and simple to use software offers a simplified tracking of our sales and also the monitoring of unlimited potential customers that has no expiration, has nothing to lose. The exclusive management of our sales team is configured as a hierarchy of the company, where users can only see their leads and user leads that inform them. Distribution of lead at its maximum expression. Along with sending appointments to your favorite mobile calendar, upload files and more. At this moment, thanks to Prospect.io we can carry out a more detailed analysis, mainly for quality control purposes: the idea is that you can use it to verify the quality of the service offered later.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

What bothers us is that if you want more powerful reports, more insightful audits, we had to look elsewhere to be able to understand what the software really specifies when it comes to resolving our sales with our favorite customers. Even Prospect is designed to show a summary analysis of a website, with the purpose of involving the company so that it increases sales simultaneously to eliminate obstacles that may arise along the way, as soon as a marketing project is proposed. In general, it has given us a quick snapshot of the website and how it compares with others.

**Recommendations to others considering Overloop.ai:**

This product is recommended because it gives you lead management is a crowded field. There are many inflated systems with features that you will never use and with a bulky cost. This system has the parts that you and your people will really use at a perfect price. Another great advantage is that the customer service is second to none. Quick change in all requests! Try this system, together you can say that it is great to get a laptop or Ipad and then audit the site of your prospect and then offer the solution quickly. It is also very easy to show what the client's website is doing well and where they can improve.

This tool is very efficient and easy, since it helps us to put a foot in the door with our potential clients. We also have the benefit that allows us to clearly show customers and prospects where there are problems with their presence online and allows a dialogue based on facts about how we can improve it. Now we have a much better understanding of how things are going, and where they are going. It allows us to better understand our sales process and identify where we have to make adjustments. In the same way since Prospect appeared in our company we have improved a lot in: the administration of tasks, quotations / proposals, storage of documents and especially our sales have been more organized than before.

The Chrome Extension is very simple and is incredibly easy for importing leads to Salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

It's good for commercial teams, but has proven to be very poor at servicing teams focused on Enterprise companies. When you get away from standard (first.last@, etc...) email formats and start adding things like middle initials, numbers, etc... it struggles immensely. 

**Recommendations to others considering Overloop.ai:**

If you're solely focused on commercial/SMB accounts, it will serve it's purpose easily, if you're an Enterprise seller looks towards something else.

It was originally brought on to solve the problem of the large amount of time our commercial team was spending prospecting and manually inputing data to Salesforce.

I love that Prospect IO is a Chrome extension, so any website you go to, you can simply click the extension button, and it'll scan contact information for you. I also appreciate the LinkedIn feature. It keeps track of people you've already "prospected" - so you can stay organized and don't lose credits.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

There are often malfunctions with the software. It has trouble loading, or it simply doesn't work sometimes. I often have to uninstall and re-install the Chrome extension to get it to work again.

**Recommendations to others considering Overloop.ai:**

If you have a small team, with only 2-3 people using the platform, I wouldn't go overboard on the amount of credits you buy. (Generally, one credit = one email address for you). The credits reset every 6th of the month, and it's been tough for our team to use them all up before they expire.

We've significantly increased our lead database by using Prospect IO.

**What do you like best about Overloop.ai?**

Hugely responsive customer support team.  Very easy to chat with and helpful with answers.  It's easy to upload lists, and they offer an email verification service that checks for invalid addresses on upload.

**What do you dislike about Overloop.ai?**

Honestly, there's almost nothing to like.   The UI is challenging,  the system behaves unexpectedly (eg. you think a campaign is paused or archived but it keeps sending emails), you can't schedule multiple campaigns in advance because one contact can't exist in multiple campaigns, there's a limit of 400 emails sent per day (which is usually fine but can be frustrating in certain circumstances), there's no unsubscribe option/link, there's no clear indication who has received a campaign once the last email has been sent, it doesn't show you lists of who bounced, responded, clicked.  It's really only in its early stages. There are numerous typos throughout the application making it feel unpolished and not market ready.

Don't use it. Give it a few more quarters to mature.

Lack of unsubscribe feature, lac of list management and the a mail limit of 400 emails sent (total)/day.

Our team was looking for a drip email marketing software that could manage and score our leads. The UX was poor, there were typos and the email editor was not robust. Overall: Pricing plans modelled after how many emails you can send a day was an odd one.

The price is definitely higher than some alternatives (Mailshake is a lot cheaper) but the additional features like split testing are worth it.

I'd evaluate other options if the price is too high (MailShake is all most small businesses need). This is great for power users or large sales teams, though.

From my perspective, Prospect.io data seems to have some integrity issues, meaning that I'm finding more accurate contact information from other, similar tools.

I've only just started using prospect.io but it's been really time saving and a neat tool. At first I was a little concerned the data wouldn't be accurate/up to date but I verified it was really quite accurate with some known companies.

I've not really used in anger too much to uncover any issues so far.

Mainly collecting and exporting contacts and prospects. Traditional prospect databases are too wide, and prospect allows me to target specific niches without wading through useless data

Salesforce integration is unreliable and required a workaround to even function when prospecting outside US.  For a European-based product this was a disappointment.

Does not fill the gap in quick and accurate lead gen straight that SalesLoft Prospector left in most sales organizations when it discontinued the service.
