"Overleaf - LaTex editor"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Overleaf?

Overleaf is free of charge, very simple to create account, powerful help and supports, provide many already designed templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Overleaf?

Overleaf do not compile laTex into Microsoft word doc or docx files, also do not accept to add in proofreading software like grammarly (www.grammarly.com). Since, i am not English native speaker, so i need to add in proofreading software. Also, it is more helpful to write my reports in LaTex, but i need to submit them (mostly) in editable Ms word doc/docx. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best online alternative to Latex software"
5/5
What do you like best about Overleaf?

I have been using overleaf for a while in my research. Overleaf just help me write my papers and represent my data in a very professional way. Unlike using traditional IEEE word format to write papers, overleaf is capable of generating high precision IEEE formatting which in turns save time and effort. The online helps and examples are very useful for beginners.

I would like also to mention that multiple users can work and edit documents simultaneously which makes the process of writing papers more easily especially if you are working within a team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Overleaf?

I would say that I have nothing that I dislike about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Overleaf?

The reference or the bibliography is shown in a difficult (tricky) way than in Microsoft. As well if you need to share your file/project with external users-be ready to not an easy work. You can export your file only in pdf format. Would be useful to have it in word doc format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
