What do you like best?

Along with the amazing customer service by your client success team, we love that the assessments are so easy. They are easy for is to send to candidates, easy for the candidate to complete on any device, and easy for us to quickly get insight into our candidate. On top of that, the report provides an interview guide that can help you interview with specific questions to hone in on the candidate's potential weakness. It is overall a great tool for us to use from hourly associates to Executive Vice President level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing that we don't like - honest! OutMatch continually asks for feedback and improves their product and works with us to make requests. They even worked with our ATS to fully integrate making the entire process so much easier for our managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We use Outmatch Assessment and Pre-Recorded Interview through and integration into Taleo Business Edition. Assessment provides us with some great insights into how an individual will fit in the position, as well as, helps our hiring managers ask great follow up questions in the interview stages. Pre-Recorded Interview is awesome because it takes the work out of phone interviews and allows us to reach many more candidates without the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

With the integration the assessment can be sent to the candidate using req-based status change with auto-email but the pre-recorded interview has to be done within the assessment. Would be nice to have another req-based status that triggers the next step and notifies when completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

What do you like best?

The interview guide! This ensures compliance, behavioral interview questions that really take a deep dive into personality traits, and also creates a consistent candidate experience and internal process. This process has been extremely user friendly for applicants and candidates, but also our internal team.

I enjoy being able to share the results with new hires and see where potential gaps are and work on them by partnering with their managers to create development plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The Mark Hired feature isn't as user friendly as I would like. OutMatch is open to updating this feature and is also open to feedback. One roadblock we have run into is pulling the report so it compares apples to apples and so that we have the correct results. This feature has a lot of potential! We now have an internal process that helps streamline candidate and hiring managers experience for all positions both in our corporate office and within our retail locations. Applicants can automatically take the assessment as part of their application. This makes it extremely easy for applicants, but also hiring managers to review their information. What do you like best?

The system set-up is fairly simple. There is a nice variety of roles to choose from and a general skills assessment which is helpful when you have a unique role. The different kinds of "reasoning" you add to the test are great for customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Integrations could use some work - there are too many steps to create a new assessment for a job. The hiring profiles don't make sense for us and we would rather just have different jobs. You can't tie different jobs to different hiring profiles so they seem pointless. You also cannot edit job titles and that makes it difficult when you make mistakes in setting up the new system. Reporting and analytics leave something to be desired, not much is available. The "types of reasoning" you can choose from need better descriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I send candidates the link to take the personality assessment and outmatch will tell me exactly where they did well and were lacking in relation to the sales role Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For some reason, they always say my candidates are low energy/passion after taking the assessment. There algorithm may be a little off because most of the people I pass through have a lot of energy in their voice. Sometimes you have to take the results with a grain of salt. What do you like best?

We recently upgraded platforms from Chequed to OutMatch and the change has been met with positive results. The tool is easy to use for both managers and candidates alike, and integration with our ATS went smoothly (by comparison to past experiences). Candidate results are my favorite thing about OutMatch assessment, especially the accompanying interview guide with dynamic questions that the interviewer is provided. Customization is also a plus.

Of equal importance to us is the team behind the tool - it's that partnership and investment in our success that will ultimately deliver ROI. We genuinely enjoy working with the people at OutMatch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Assessment of incoming talent - we intend to drive consistency across our organization (use of the tool) to make better talent decisions. Similarly, we hope to leverage the development plans from those assessments to help guide learning paths for our new hires.

What do you like best?

The Assessments can be customized to any position you're hiring for, you can customize Assessments by adding more sections (such as nunmerical reasonin/ P&L etc.) or removing them to make the Assessment faster or more in depth depending on the role. You can compare candidates against one another to see how they rank. We've customized a brand-specific interview guide for hiring managers to utilize and along with that, OutMatch gives you customized interview questions based on the candidate's specific responses. We can also manage succession planning by comparing individuals to different jobs we've created (as they move into more senior roles). Easy to print or access via a direct link without needing a login (helpful for traveling hiring managers). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far it has been very user-friendly and helpful in the hiring process. If the interview guide within the Assessment were something that the hiring manager could download to be able to type into as they interview I think this would help tremendously. At the moment they're simply printing these guides and returning them, and the return/completion rate is not high at the moment. A computer completion type interview guide would go over much better. What do you like best?

After using Outmatch assessment for years our hiring managers know know exactly what type of employee we are getting. We also use the assessments to help our managers understand how to best manage the employees after they are hired for success. We love the behavioral questions that the system gives us based on the areas of weakness.
