Really, an incredible way to synchronize Outlook and Google without having to plug the phone to the computer, the best thing is that no matter where you are, automatic synchronization is the best part. I have used O4G to synchronize my calendar and outlook contacts to my Google account, fulfilling what was promised through automatic synchronizations. I do not have to worry about the differences between my accounts, since I can always trust this application, which can work in the background. Sometimes I received error messages due to microsoft updates, although this I have not received it very often is annoying, however, the customer support that is available is quite good and they have always solved the failures. I like the event log that's easy to track changes. It worked pretty well connecting into Outlook and I didn't see a lag of any kind. The dashboard was easy to understand and use. The initial calendar, appointments synced up pretty smoothly. That's about it when it comes to the positives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Outlook4Gmail? I've had issues with ongoing calendar items continuing to sync after the fact as sometimes it fails altogether. My recurring events/appointments are all screwed up and whenever I reach out to tech support I don't get any response. The ongoing pain that this product has given me has led me to write this review. I looked into this tool to make my life easier and smoother which has not happened. I would strongly suggest to hire more developers and testers and make the product correct. When I tried adding additional Gmail accounts it basically locked up everything for multiple minutes which became very frustrating. Again, the calendar issue ongoing is a true problem that needs to be resolved as it's become painful. If you have multiple emails in your organization, or you just like using outlook instead of gmail, it's the best solution. Most others are too expensive or not fully featured; some are even both. Worked great for awhile. When it did, I could receive outlook notices via gmail which made checking my schedule and responding to work emails much easier, especially due to the issues with Outlook on phone. Sometimes it would resolve, but it got worse and worse - especially with updates. No longer using, but will use again once the kinks have been fixed in terms of the gmail-outlook syncing. Otherwise, see what troubleshooting/resolution you can do and contact support; if that does not resolve it, it's better just to try this software later or try another software.
