We have had it for a few years and it functions by reading the invoice, going through the approval chains and being submit for payment. Researching in ottimate is easy and user friendly. We would like GL level restrictions to prevent coding departments to balance sheet accounts. And the default of splitting up invoices by multiple pages is a bad default. This software is user-friendly, and offers tons of neat features that I haven't seen from competitors. The downside of using Ottimate would be that it has created more work for us in our office, by that I mean we may not have gotten to certain reconciliations every month due to our long and tedious accounting process. Ottimate immediatley solved our long and tedious manual process, additionally it allows us to see which departments are holding invoices and not submitting them to accounting in a timely fashion.
