We love having one integrated, user friendly system that does all our invoices, EDIs, statement reconciliation, credit card transactions, ACH and check cutting. We especially like the paper trail and approvals policies that we are able to customize- where we used to have email chains and excel sheets for rent payments, reconciliations, reporting... we now have PlateIQ to do it all. We were able to reduce cost by 1.5FTEs by switching. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** We've been with PlateIQ for more than 3 years and every "dislike" we have had, we were able to bring to the table and watch them innovate. They are constantly improving in the little things as well as the larger direction and we're excited for their vision! **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to manage rent for one of our clients 100+ store locations on a spreadsheet; we now use PlateIQ. We used to outsource all our utility management to a company with large fees to manage for us; we now use PlateIQ. We used to have company credit cards that were reconciled and managed separately from our AP system; we now use PlateIQ. We used to have Amazon transactions as a separate entity without excellent ways of charging the correct store; we now use PlateIQ. They are constantly innovating and making their product better. They listen to their customers and provide great support. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** I really don't have any. The Company is constantly innovating. Any wants and needs are always being addressed in the Company's roadmap. **Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:** Highly recommend this product/company if you are in the hospitality/restaurant space. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Plate IQ has allowed us to automate our invoice processing primarily through EDI and direct email of invoices. This has greatly reduced the number of missing invoices, input errors and also has allowed us to increase accuracy, while reducing the amount of time needed to close the books. We also use the statement reconciliation module, which has proved very useful and effective as well. This ensures that all invoices are included for each period. Additionally, the product integrates very nicely with our ERP which allows for easy workflows and reporting. This has enabled us to grow our team and provide them with more challenging jobs, rather than data entry. We experienced 80% growth with Plate IQ and our team of three became a team of one. When COVID hit we decided to move our payments to Plate IQ primarily to make check processing more efficient. ### 3. The website is extremely easy to navigate for all levels of computer savy (or not savy) people! It helped us become paperless to have the ability to work from home more frequently! It also allows our company to get a better handle on their spending and figure out where we could be saving due to the features that PlateIQ gives us! It also eliminates our check cutting process with their Bill Pay option! We are able to cut checks and make payments with a click of a button! Not to mention our vendors love the ACH and V-Card options now, so they are paid quicker without the hassle of depositing checks that come in the mail! **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Some of the tools could be better and it would be nice to have custom reporting but I know that PlateIQ is always looking to improve their platform so I'm looking forward to all the new features that get rolled out! I would also prefer more control from an administrator side. It would be nice to log in as someone to see their point of view and to manage what they can/cannot do in their role. **Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:** I would (and have already) recommend PlateIQ to other companies. I have never had this luxary before and it saves so much time. We use it with out ERP system, Compeat, and it is seamless and easy. It allows the store level people also capture the invoice and upload them, then they come to AP where they go through the finally approval and import into the ERP system for payment. Really great system and product. They also have really great support. I don't mind emailing, but when I need something fixed or an answer without the wait, I can call and talk to a person. Even the emails are answered in a timely manner. Not waiting for four weeks to get a simple answer is so helpful. The second best is a restaurant program is rocking the grocery world. Plate IQ I would recommend to any industry for invoice management and streamlining. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Programs are great at input with little errors, but they don't like to talk to each other all the time. However, in the programs defence, it has been found that some humans change things they should not. Then the programs do get confused by way of cause and not space and character. **Recommendations to others considering Ottimate:** They had more experience, user friendliness, and user friendly with Quickbooks **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have six departments and eight buyers. They all have their own way of reporting invoices. With Plate IQ we are getting a centralizing and standardizing of the invoice reporting to the finance office. The bill pay with the V card is also an exciting tool I'm looking forward to taking advantage of. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** When the Plate staff isn't able to read cursive writing or thinks an utility invoice is a statement, just because it says statement at the top. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a great time saver for us and our managers/owners love the hot list to save money on items they should be getting at a franchise discount. ### 29. Some work could be done with the reporting module but other than that its great. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** The time spent processing invoices has dramatically reduced allowing our realized revenue increase due to task times be cut, sometimes even as drastically as in half. Invoices are automatically sent to the platform, you can customize an approval process within your company, and have your AP team do a quick upload to your accounting software to finalize. **What do you dislike about Ottimate?** Your vendors need to be willing to email PDF's or EDI files to the platform. If you work with a lot of mom and pop vendors, you will find yourself having to scan invoices to the platform yourself. It's still easy to do but takes away the efficiency that this product allows you to gain within AP. **What problems is Ottimate solving and how is that benefiting you?** With 18 locations, it's easy to miss paying an invoice if you don't have a good system in place. Plate IQ has solved that issue for us. By the time we get to the end of the month, we don't have to worry about invoices being missed. Another issue we resolved is getting invoices approved by our GM's. Plate IQ has streamlined the entire process for us and has significantly reduced the amount of hours we used to spend emailing invoices to our locations to approve. ### 36.
