OTABot is competitor price monitoring software for independent hotels, boutique properties, hostels, vacation rentals, and property managers. It helps accommodation operators see what their real competitive set is charging on Booking.com and Airbnb without repeatedly checking each listing by hand. Users add the competitor properties they want to follow, and OTABot scans publicly available nightly rates, availability, and minimum-stay requirements on a schedule. The results are brought together in a colour-coded price heatmap calendar, side-by-side rate comparison tables, and rate-positioning charts. Teams can review bar charts, scatter plots, price-gap analysis, and historical price trends to understand whether their property is priced above or below nearby alternatives for specific stay dates. OTABot also provides an interactive competitor map and email alerts for meaningful market changes. Alerts can show when a competitor lowers a price, undercuts the user's property, or becomes unavailable. This makes it easier for revenue managers and property owners to spot changes early and decide whether their own rates need attention. The product focuses on the properties a user chooses rather than presenting only a broad market average. That approach is designed for smaller accommodation businesses that know which listings guests compare with theirs and want a clear, repeatable view of those competitors. A free plan is available for monitoring two competitor properties with weekly scans, a rate calendar, email alerts, and a basic heatmap.
