Osano is really easy to use and is best suited for a company looking for quick implementation and getting up and running immediately with best practices and settings configured out of the box. It focuses on trying to keep you compliant and has several features that help with using it correctly (like the banner previews) and quickly (AI-assisted cookie classification). The basic customization options are easy to use. The discovery of cookies is quick and the rules are easy to use. Additionally, the support is great - very quick to respond and knowledgable. It might not be the right fit for an organization looking for a very custom solution. Some of the customization options are limited or require reaching out to support to enable - for example customizing larger parts of the disclaimers/consent strings, adding custom links or buttons. The solution tries to steer you to a path defined by Osano that is probably a great and compliant fit for most companies - but in specific cases when the legal/privacy team wants to make some custom choices, it is not as easy to change. We encountered a few challenges, particularly with the lack of Expo support. The Osano team was extremely helpful and did their best to accommodate our needs, but ultimately, we were unable to get it working with our new app and ended up integrating directly with the APIs ourselves.

Using Osano gives us the assurance that all legal matters related to our customers' personal information are in good hands. Last year in October I opened a support ticket regarding every admin in the organization receiving the new DSAR request notification email while it's only a request from one organization. I can reach out to Skye or Chris at any time and I know I will get a prompt and thorough response. I also like their admin panel. I was hoping there was more information on cross domain tracking or a better solution for cross domain tracking. This may be more of any issue with browsers in general and not specifically Osano, but our website uses 2 domains and our consent management pops up twice for new users as they go from one domain to the next. I've noticed in the past that some of their system updates are not implemented as intended if you are not using their default settings. It has caused issues wherein our Subject Rights Forms were non-functional without notice. Their customer support, however, was quick to acknowledge and fix the issue.
