What do you like best about Organimi?

When we were searching for an org chart software program, we were looking for something that had an easy interface and was intuitive. Organimi fits the bill Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Organimi?

Generally speaking, I don't have much that I dislike about the product. One drawback is that you cannot import staff from one company/division to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Organimi?

Organimi offers an excellent price for the price of the product. I enjoy how easy it is to upload a CSV or excel file to the tool and have an org chart in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Organimi?

I do have issues with loading departments and having them show up. Custom fields are not as intuitive to learn on the fly as I would like them to be. Otherwise product is great Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks so much for your review! We're glad to hear that you were able to get your org chart built quickly with our data import feature! Departments should appear without an issue, could it be that the chart is not expanded fully? If that continues to be an issue please do reach out to support at support@organimi.com!

As for custom fields, I have linked a Help Centre document that covers the different types and what they do, and there are more related articles about custom fields if you scroll down. We also just hosted a Webinar yesterday that covered custom fields and data import. This will soon be uploaded to our website resources on The Huddle TV as well as on the Organimi YouTube channel. If you would like to import custom fields, you can create the custom field in Organimi and make sure the title aligns with the custom field title you have in your spreadsheet to import. Thanks so much for your review!

You can make the font for any of your fields bigger by going into Themes, clicking on Fields and then clicking the cogwheel next to whichever field you'd like to adjust. Here you can also edit font style, border, colour, and choose if you'd like your field label to show. You are also able to export the chart as a PDF for each different chart view and more specifically use the paginated printing option to fully customize the section of the chart you'd like to export. What do you like best about Organimi?

Organimi makes it easy to customize org charts for our uses. The customization tools are easy to use and the org charts generate quickly. It is very helpful to know you'll be able to generate one in a timely fashion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Organimi?

Nothing comes to mind. At first our org charts were too big to be generated, but I contacted customer service and they resolved the issue. Since then we've been able to use it without issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Organimi?

Organimi is more than just an org chart. It allows for the storage of information on employees making retrieval and placement for different projects extremely fast. We don't have to spend hours trying to link departments to one another, it's all automated for us. Each new release seems to bring out just one more thing to make it even better than it was before. I've been using this software for a number of years. I couldn't imagine trying to work without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Organimi?

If you are like me, manuals and how-to's are my last resort. I like to get in and play right away, but a word of warning. Unless you read and understand the full capabilities of the program, you will be frustrated in the beginning. Organimi is a great tool for organizational planning purposes. Super user-friendly with excellent user interface. It's a breeze to learn how to use this tool and roll this out to my management team. What do you like best about Organimi?

The main reason for selecting Organimi was its ability to sync the org chart with HRIS data. For example, an org chart can be created from an employee upload file and saved as a template. The file sync will update the employee data while retaining the formatting and pagination. Various sync methods are available. For example, we schedule a daily CSV file to an sFTP server. There was an initial issue with the formatting retention, but it has since been corrected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Organimi?

It cannot currently accommodate a dynamic header on each page. There is an option for a static header where the company logo may be inserted, but it does not allow each org chart page to contain the appropriate department name or description. I submitted this as an enhancement request and am told it is on the list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Also, thank you for your chart title/header suggestion! As of now we allow titles as well as subtitles for the entire chart, which you could name per department if saved each manually, but we'll for sure look into the ability to adjust that per page in one go!
