Two operating modes:
Evidence Only Mode (default) — Ordiva does NOT store your documents. Users provide references to documents and attest to their existence. Ordiva records attestations and audit trails only. Documents stay where they are.
Document Custody Mode (opt-in), Ordiva stores, manages, and maintains legal custody of uploaded documents with encryption, retention policies, and chain-of-custody tracking.
