Shared tools move between crews, vans and jobsites, and nobody can say who has what. Spreadsheets work until a tool goes missing. OrbitEquip adds a simple check-out habit for electrical, HVAC and plumbing crews. Print QR labels and scan tools in a phone browser, with no app to install. Check a tool out to yourself or a teammate with an optional return due date, then check it in. Overdue tools show on the Dashboard and in the asset list, and checkout reminder emails help follow up. Report issues with a photo, schedule one-time maintenance, and keep each tool's history. The permanent Free plan covers up to 25 tools, including CSV import. Unlimited users come with every plan. Paid plans start at $15/month (Starter, 500 tools) and add filtered CSV export, new physical inventory audits (by location or assignee), new recurring maintenance schedules and maintenance reminder emails. It is not GPS, RFID or Bluetooth tracking, nor a broad CMMS or ERP.
