The platform addresses the challenges many students face due to limited access to dedicated college counseling, offering tools that streamline and enhance the admissions journey. One of the core features of Orbit AI is the Right Fit Matcher. This tool evaluates a student's academic profile, including GPA, intended major, budget, and campus preferences, against a database of over 4,000 colleges and universities. By analyzing these factors, the Right Fit Matcher generates a tailored list of reach, match, and safety schools, helping students make informed decisions about where to apply. To support students in crafting compelling application essays, Orbit AI offers the AI Essay Coach. This feature provides real-time feedback on essay drafts, identifying areas for improvement such as clarity, impact, and authenticity. By highlighting generic openings or weak reflections, the AI Essay Coach guides students in refining their narratives to better resonate with admissions committees. Financial considerations are a significant aspect of the college application process. Orbit AI's Scholarship Matcher assists students in identifying scholarship opportunities that align with their academic achievements, background, and interests. By scanning a vast array of scholarships, this tool presents personalized matches, potentially uncovering funding opportunities that students might have otherwise overlooked. Managing multiple application deadlines and requirements can be overwhelming. The Application Planner within Orbit AI helps students stay organized by tracking deadlines, required documents, and recommendation letters for each school on their list. This feature ensures that students meet all application requirements in a timely manner, reducing the risk of missed opportunities. For on-demand guidance, Orbit AI introduces Solvi, an AI-powered counselor available 24/7. Solvi can answer a wide range of questions related to the admissions process, from strategies on early decision applications to advice on handling application rejections. By providing context-specific responses, Solvi offers personalized support tailored to each student's unique situation. Orbit AI was developed to bridge the gap in college counseling services, particularly in public high schools where dedicated counselors are often responsible for large numbers of students. By leveraging artificial intelligence, Orbit AI aims to democratize access to high-quality admissions guidance, making the college application process more accessible and less daunting for all students.
