What do you like best about Orange Logic?

I appreciate how customizable the product is, allowing us to tailor the DAM to the needs of our users and materials. From a design standpoint, Cortex is elegant with an easy-to-navigate interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Orange Logic?

The speech to text delivers far from a perfect transcript but overall very useful. There are few downsides, and I believe with more work and time put into the metadata the better the product will become. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Orange Logic solving and how is that benefiting you?

All our assets are in one central repository, making it easy for users to find what they need and allowing them to mine the wealth of assets, regardless of where they are kept on our servers. The facial recognition tool is fantastic at embedding personal identification into assets. We no longer have to look by sight to pull a photo. Powerful search engine, intuitive interface, flexible metadata management and digital assets control covering the full lifecycle of UN digital photo management, as well as robust cyber security and good integration with Amazon Web Services for online storage and deep archive. The regular upgrades for new versions of Cortex in a year can be positive by patching bugs and resolving issues from previous versions, but in some cases cause changes to the production site and add confusion to the end-users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Orange Logic?

Orange Logic has supported the BoeingImages.com site for several years and can honestly say that we've encountered minimal user issues using the OL platform. The Orange Logic team is fantastic! Not only do they respond to our inquires and concerns in a very timely manner, but they also provide feedback for changes and upgrades that will enhance the user experience. The platform has performed so well for BoeingImages.com that other areas of The Boeing Company have adopted Orange Logic for their business function. Thanks to the Cortex |DAM tools and how metadata is handled, our clients can search for content with a degree of accuracy we couldn’t offer before. We’ve also implemented e-commerce to grow our business further and enhance user experience.

What do you like best about Orange Logic?

Compared to other DAM products that we evaluated prior to choosing OL CORTEX/DAM, Cortex was the most user friendly and functional and fulfilled all of our business needs. Since we launched our business Cortex has continued to improve with updates and has proved to be an extremely reliable platform.

We feel confident that our assets, which is our business, are fully protected and safe with Cortex, and being able to manage all aspects of the product via the Cloud allows our team to be on top of things even when working from different locations around the country.

What do you dislike about Orange Logic?

Not much negative about the product to report. There are certain tools that we would suggest minor worlfow revisions on if we used them more frequently, and we have found the OL team to be open to our suggestions when applicable.
