It allows me to move VMs from one machine to another. **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** At the moment there is no alternative for me as Oracle virtualization is the only one I used. There is nothing to dislike if I have not worked on any other VM. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Virtualization:** Test it yourself. It worked fine for me. **What problems is Oracle Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to live migrate VMs on the fly from one hypervisor to another has been very useful. ### 2. Also, the integration is quite easy between the host and the virtual machine and multiple VM can be supported at once. **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** One of the things that can be improved is the reporting feature of the Oracle Virtualization tool. Also, the GUI is a bit old and needs some improvisation also need some better templates for the provision of database nodes. Also, it utilizes a high amount of resources. **What problems is Oracle Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** The primary use is the simple virtualization that it provides for Windows OS in a production environment, along with many customization features. This tool can also be used to run the training environment since the configuration and the implementation are relatively easy and help to save a lot of resources. ### 4. Easy to use after initial training and intuitive design making workflow feel natural and effortless. **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** The biggest complaint is it takes time to open up other operating systems and uses a lot of RAM while running, which is frustrating. **What problems is Oracle Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** A problem Oracle VM solves is collaborating with external clients who use different operating systems. Oracle VM lets our employees use one PC to access programs and content that run on Windows and MacOS. Oracle VM has increased the efficiency of our IT department and our engineers. ### 6. That is amazing, it gives you a free trial in case it does not work for you, or you don't like it **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** I'm not too fond of the way Oracle deals with Java (for the most part) and believe in fixing this issue we need to be able to dig deep and find a solution quickly for the clients **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Virtualization:** I would say that there are little snippets that need to be fixed and worked on for the ease of the product **What problems is Oracle Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** Where do I start, it is not as good as Google's virtualization, but it is better accessible than Google. I wish there were a way you could fix this. The benefits are wonderful ### 7. The interface is intuitive, it is possible to configure in detail the resources available for each virtual machine and I never had any really serious problems running the virtual machines. It is an excellent tool for me to test features, configurations, before actually applying them to my physical machines. The software has interesting features, such as the possibility of virtual machines recognizing real connected peripherals, in addition to graphical configurations. It is a fundamental tool for any IT professional. **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** - There is no native support for legacy ports - I had some problems with directories shared between the virtual machine and the physical machine. This is important for the transmission of files and programs. - The consumption of RAM is also a little high. It is recommended that your machine has at least 8GB of RAM. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Virtualization:** Oracle's virtualization system may not be the one with the most resources available, but its ease of use and interface for me are enough for me to perform the necessary functions. Integration between virtual machines can be a problem, but for me it does what is necessary. **What problems is Oracle Virtualization solving and how is that benefiting you?** I always need to test new versions of software, security tools and applications to be tested. In addition, I need to mount images of operating systems to be installed on machines and servers. Oracle Virtualization is used to validate these operating system images. ### 11. Its very flexible. **What do you dislike about Oracle Virtualization?** Speaking of Oracle LDOMs and ZONES - if one is not experienced with complex CLI operations, and does not have an Oracle OEM or Ops center environment, it is very often foreign and difficult to understand. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Virtualization:** Traditional on-prem Oracle virtualization - not to be confused with OCI - is not for the inexperienced or faint of heart.
