The best advantage of Timesten is, it has aging functionality - which immediately move to data to Oracle database. It is really very fast. The main disadvantage is, Oracle has not enough good support. We has premium support, but actually we never get support from Oracle for Timesten problems. Sends you reminders to approve or submit time. When you enter time start and end in to the system it automatically calculates and show the amount of time worked. This saves a lot of painful algebra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Oracle TimesTen? This system is heavily outdated. The platform looks old and gray. Just for me to approve someone’s time on this system takes at minimum 5 clicks. This is even the case when I am clinking on the direct link provided in the reminder emails. I don’t understand why there are so many layers to get to the page I need. These layers are even a security measure. It’s just a horrible platform design. and forget adjusting time that was entered wrong and has passed the payroll deadline. I have to be on the phone with someone on HR just to figure out how to figure that out. Wish this system was more intuitive for something that could be so simple.
