What do you like best about Oracle Solaris?

We have been using this OS for a while. We need to run an enterprise application with Oracle as the backend DB. Once we started using this OS the DB fetching performed very well. Solaris fetching the DB faster than the previous OS. So far, users have been satisfied with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Solaris?

Apart from the Oracle packages, facing some issues with installing 3rd party applications. Integration with some packages is a big headache for the IT team. It is not recommended to run dynamic websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Solaris?

Zfs has made life easy for the Administrators. And after introduction of the the IPS Managing packages made much more effective then older system.i also like hard partitioning feture on the SPARC servers for licensing requirements to run the Databases on the Solaris.
