Oracle siebel is a great CRM and i like a list of things in this product:
1. Data structurization.
2. Data management
3. Used for large-scale organizations to manage information.
4. Data query and formatting of data
5. User friendly.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

A little hard to implement and Highly customize 
but all in all it is a good integration platform. 

Migration is also a challanging task

Highly secure for implementation of Data privacy and businesses process according to requirements.

Siebel do not provide cloud infrastructure for few of the areas.

Configuration  tools and application  is separate.

Try to automate the process if your requirements  will not be fulfilled  by out of box functionality.

Oracle Siebel Is an Excellent CRM having the capability of customization and integration.
Excellent Data formatting and on-Demand Data Query. 
Very Helpful UI/UX so that anyone can easily Understand different Option. 
Can be used in Large scale Organizations like banks and Financial Institutions.

I think there is nothing that I dislike. But Yes the migration process can be challenging but that is Okay.

It has a good search capability across Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities and is an easy-to-use tool.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

There is no 'leads' object in Siebel, which is a disadvantage because in those cases, the leads have to be entered directly as contacts or opportunities.

It helps in tracking opportunities created by Sales and syncs well with Siebel Analytics for reporting. It also acts as a CRM that stores all contact information tied to accounts.

The functionality of the software is excellent in terms of a customer CRM tool. Information is well organized in the software and therefore the software perfectly serves it's purpose for the sales and planning teams. Nice integration with Oracle database.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

1) UI is not easily to use and it has too many functions on the UI.

2) Siebel Support team on MyOracleSupport is not so good its should be improved.

3) Oracle should Improve Siebel Open UI Performance , look & Feel.

I was a part of an Oracle and Python user group here at our company. These usergroups have helped make many of the choices for deployment when it involves Siebel CRM.

- Excellent Data Structuration and Formatting for on-demand data querying
- Great UI & UX, therefore it is easy to train new users and get where you want to go without any difficulties
- Great Reporting Tools built-in.

- When you put too many data fields on the screen, it might look cluttered. Nonetheless, this is a user choice, so if it works for you, it won't be an issue.

- My best recomendation is to assert your database weaknesses before making a decision to implement Siebel

It was particularly easy to use for new people, which made the program easy to learn and train new people on. Its also useful due to the ability to quickly query items.

The program, while easy to use, required a lot of "clicking" around. Sometimes the program would have longer load times as a result, when it could have been better optimized.

Siebel CRM is good because best in Integration with External services,  Scripting more easy compared to other CRM tools especially in Workflows, Siebel is robust,  reliable and Easy to configure. it is having the easy way to send the notification on daily basis without user interaction.

Migration in between Environments can be challenging, and UI also needs a lot of improvement. The application can be slow sometimes.

Trackable. Searching is complicated and tricky but if you know how, you can find anything,there are no hidden emails that for some reason don't pop-up. If you were searching correctly (fields are case sensitive in most times, and require specific format for dates for example) and it didn't pop-up, it's not there.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

Crowded and outdated user interface,  unnecessarily complicated searching options, and too many clicks. Also a but unreliable, often randomly disconnects (could be an internet issue but then it's not stable enough).

Might not be the best one out there but it gets the job done.

It was easy to figure out the structure of Oracle Siebel.   I had used other CRM systems before going back to the early 2000s, so I was able to figure out what the structures were and how to search for records.

**What do you like best about Oracle Siebel?**

I was using the Oracle Siebel CRM while I was working for the strategy department. It is very reliable to hold all CRM-related data such as sales pipeline, contracts, customer contacts, products. It is easy to learn. The reporting functionalities are great and easy to use. 

Our organization was a multinational one with 20 plus countries and different regions. Even for such a large organization, the data analysis and processing were running smoothly. In summary, it is an all-in CRM package for large organizations.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

The user windows have to be configured very carefully during the initial installation. The business rules, data consistency rules have to be automized as much as possible; otherwise, cleaning the CRM data can be a pain.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Siebel:**

To facilitate efficiency, users should have a well-configured system and user manuals. I suggest manual periodical data cleaning if the IT did not implement automized business rules on data quality.

It solved our problems for following the sales pipeline, campaigns, contacts, customer contracts. I can say that it helps a lot to organize new marketing campaigns, measure their effect on sales, and generate a forecast on revenue and gross margin levels based on the pipeline data.

Comprehensive out-of-the box(OOTB) solutions, customizable and scalable. One of the best and user friendly interface. No downtime during some of the deployment. Many features can be controlled using application as an administrator. Supports most of the interfaces. Comes with built-in data loads.

Oracles limited support to OOTB features. Backward compatibility. Not a cloud solution yet.

The way it tries to organize customers and records is good.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

The system has the reliability of windows ME.  As a field technician using Siebel’s corresponding mobile app “UDispatch” (where the “u” is supposed to be the greek letter mew so that it actually reads “microDispatch”) in conjunction with my service coordinators (who are the ones actually using Siebel), I am constantly losing hours worth of readings that I record in Siebel activities.  My company email inbox is constantly spammed with system generated messages about Siebel outages while the IT dept plays whack-a-mole with one problem after another.  I’ve been with the company for almost 5 years now and they’ve yet to have this software working correctly.  If after 5 years I couldn’t get my product to work correctly for a customer, they wouldn’t be my customer anymore.

The software is meant to organize our customer database  and track services provided and parts needed to provide that service

It takes a lot of configuration and there is not enough flexibility compared to the likes of Salesforce.

I would consider other competitors such as Salesforce or big players in the CRM space.  Siebel just feels outdated.

This CRM offers real organisation and a logical work flow which really gives back to the sale executive.

It's solidly designed and has intuitive options and like it's competitors is highly customisable. 

The shortcuts are really well thought out and add speed to the this CRM when you have an urgent tasks or at the end of the day finishing up.

CRMs are generally limited, no chat, video chat or advantage conference tools which as a single system like Slack for example are multi-dynamic.

Siebel keep all my business contacts in one place, a system that's accessable and easy to navigate.

I like the simplicity which is quick and effecient. 

This program hardly ever crashes and has little to no lag when needed.

Siebel was/is #1 in defining CRM the business *and* technology. Every other product since Siebel to date is still aiming for that standard. Siebel is great for small, largely phone-dominant businesses if they can negotiate a low price. Oracle Fusion charts new standing on the shoulders of the giant Siebel.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

It ignored the continuance of Moore's Law into the 21st century, thus becoming expensive for the Internet of 21st century where compute and memory cost far lower than they did in the 1990s. Siebel Systems mis-forecast the speed and spread of worldwide Internet like most other systems/software producers of that time. Oracle tries to keep Siebel relevant by price however the technology is out of kilter with today's markets and internet.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Siebel:**

If your internet is fast and there's no risk to storing your data outside, Siebel may not be cost-effective versus Oracle Cloud. If the business process for which you to plan to tool with Siebel is going to remain rigid [for good business reasons] over 5/10 years then Siebel would be a good buy.

Call centric processes. Single customer views is the main benefit (not to mention that this was originally called "360" by IBM in the 1960s and by Siebel in the 1990s)

Oracle Siebel is very easy to use without any special training, it has almost all functions that you can expect for your business, such as customer database including all of information, name, address, contact, email, preferences, etc. It has easy implementation on any system and normally work smoothly without any issue. You can manage ongoing campaigns, sales, marketing, and almost all supply chain on a single click.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

On startup sometimes it take longer time which is irritating and time wasting, also face hanging issues when you frequently using different features, it might be due to system performance but it must have to be fixed as earliest possible, frequently submitted complaints to fix startup issues, but still waiting for the next positive update.

I would highly recommend Oracle Siebel to all kind of business who want to manage there customer database in an organized manner, it is cost effective and need some basic training for new users but when you will work on it, you would definitely love it and recommend to others.
