## Oracle Sales Cloud Reviews
 ### 1. Too many holes in product, not ready for Prime Time

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2013

**What do you like best about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Integration with other Fusion components such as Workforce Management, robust BI module.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Where to start....
1) Many of the out of the box features and components are shown as if they are available when in reality they are just placeholders for future releases. For example, Territory Managemenr and Quota, Product Management components to maintain product catalog and order history are present in R4 and R5 releases but barely have functional features.
2) There is no direct integration with other Oracle systems (especially ERPs like JDE) and you are forced to create an intermediary database stage environment to feed into Fusion CRM.
3) Data import process is immature. When data import fails it rarely ever provides any indication of where the problem exists. Data import relies mostly on CSV files and it deos not accurately indicate the records causing failures and when it does we've found that only about 5% of the time it is accurate. Last week we had a data import of 5,000 records where it indicated 400 failed, but we could clearly see all records in, even those that "failed".
4) Fusion Mobile Sales product lacks territory and organizational management components. Documentation is virtually non-existent when it comes to features that are supposed to work with simple integration such as the Around Me component. This app is supposed to be replaced with Fusion Tap at some point but no indication of when that would be....so why have the app available online for 8 months advertised as a Fusion CRM app when it currently it only works for the HR modules and not CRM?
5) ...and I'll stop here...this is not an intuitive product. If you think you are deleting something...you are not! and then be prepared to have things fail because of the record you thought was deleted is still floating in la-la land in the Fusion CRM cloud and it will come out to haunt you.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Sales Cloud:**

Make sure that when the Fusion CRM sales rep showcases Fusion CRM, that they are showing you a live environment and not a controlled setup where everything works magically...because it doesn't work like that at all. Chances are that if your company is large enough for a $1M+ potential contract, they will abide.
There is a reason Oracle will not provide you with even a 5-day trial of their product and my assumption is that they know too well that there are too many holes in the product at the moment to risk embarrassment. I believe they are headed in the right direction, but the journey is clearly as long and as precarious as depicted by JRR Tolkien in Lord of the Rings.

 ### 2. Oracle Fusion Application: ITS AWESOME !

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Its Features and working methods. It is a useful as it is using the latest technology advances and incorporating the best practices gathered from Oracle's thousands of customers. They are 100 % open-standards-based business applications that set a new standard for the way we innovate, work and adopt technology.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Sales Cloud:**

So whilst the majority of the posts on this forum are concerned with the nuts-and-bolts of developing customizations and extensions on the Fusion Applications platform, its remains prudent to not forget that with great power comes great responsibility. In fact even in cloud scenarios where ongoing IT management is a delegated task it remains important to ensure customization is done in a consistent and high-quality manner. Just because something is easy to do, it doesn’t mean it should be done without proper care and consideration.

 ### 3. Great CRM

 ### 4. Oracle Sales Cloud (Fusion CRM) Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Features and working methods. Truly 100 % open-standards-based business applications. Fantastic interface and access methods.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

It does not achieve the exact economies as multi-tenant cloud apps, wastes cost and time especially for upgrades.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Sales Cloud:**

Most comments baed on the mechanics of on the Fusion Applications platform. Its key to ensure customization is done properly.

 ### 5. Oracle Fusion

 ### 6. Oracle fusion apps

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2013

**What do you like best about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Fusion offers apps for every part of your business: finance, sales, product managers. There is a high level of design and it's very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

I see the value of taking things out of the data center and into the cloud. I just don't like how it's marketed. Any marketing that wants me to take things to the cloud immediately puts me off.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Sales Cloud:**

It's a great tool that will help you grow your business.

 ### 7. Significant Step-Up from Oracle CRM

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Team Lead, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2012

**What do you like best about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Seamless integration into SFDC or Siebel (I have not tried or seen any others). The look and feel is far superior to Oracle CRM.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Sales Cloud?**

Initial set-up can be very complex and overly difficult. Without getting it configured correctly from the get-go this will be very problematic for future use.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Sales Cloud:**

If you are using Oracle products already, Oracle Fusion CRM is an excellent choice for you, as it is far superior than Oracle CRM. If you are open to other vendors, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

 - [Strong straightforward instrument to work with deals people and outreach groups, and administration people and organizations. Complex stage that can present and crunch information conveniently from the entire organization and association, in addition to outer/non-claimed information. Simple natural utilization of the instrument (program and portable application), doesn't require unique preparation to utilize any of it. Ultimately, lower cost than most, I get it's least expense for its classification. Who could want anything more in this item? Top quality, minimal expense, solid rumored maker for coherence. For the designers too the structure is basic and strong.](https://www.g2.com/discussions/strong-straightforward-instrument-to-work-with-deals-people-and-outreach-groups-and-administration-people-and-organizations-complex-stage-that-can-present-and-crunch-information-conveniently-from-the-entire-organization-and-association-in-addition-to-oute) - 1 comment, 1 upvote
