Once it fills up, you cant open or close anything **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Primavera:** Good luck with service when your database fills up **What problems is Oracle Primavera solving and how is that benefiting you?** Great for scheduling until I run out of database space ### 3. It is very overwhelming and has a steep learning curve. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Primavera:** Be careful before you switch. There is a lot of intense training required to learn the software. **What problems is Oracle Primavera solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project management ### 4. Great for a more complex project but not for me **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Stephanie C. | Program Advisor - Master Meter Project, Utilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2015 **What do you like best about Oracle Primavera?** Primavera is very customizable and if you have the right training, you can really get a lot out of the software (great schedule baselining, tracking, management, and reporting). **What do you dislike about Oracle Primavera?** It's a very cumbersome software and takes a good amount of training to become efficient with it. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Primavera:** if your project has a higher level of complexity and you need very intricate reporting abilities, this software has all of the bells and whistles. I think it's a great software, just not for a more straightforward project. **What problems is Oracle Primavera solving and how is that benefiting you?** Unfortunately, the series of projects that I'm working on move very quickly and change often. Since I'm newer to the software, it seems like it takes too much effort to get what I could really get out of the MS Project Enterprise software. I mentioned this in another review for Project, but P6 is like Lamborghini you have that you never actually drive anywhere unless it's for a special event since the Camry gets the job done with less gas and more comfort/peace of mind. ## Oracle Primavera Discussions -
