It stores a multitude of data fields relevant to HR records management and you can report on any of the data (anything that goes in, can come out via reporting). It may be more appealing to small/mid-size companies due to price, yet it's important to note that it requires quite a bit of internal HRIS and IT support to maintain and customize after implementation. **What do you dislike about Oracle PeopleSoft?** Oracle PeopleSoft reporting is not always intuitive. Our HR team members often had to rely on HRIS team members to assist, which is not efficient. It is also lacking GUI, which I think would make the application more user friendly and appealing to non-HR business managers asked to use the application for self-service. **What problems is Oracle PeopleSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used Oracle PeopleSoft to store employee records and begin transitioning business leaders to a self-service model. I used to use it in the two companies I actually went to. I used to use it to organize the personnel timesheet essentially, but actually almost everything related to personnel control. **What do you dislike about Oracle PeopleSoft?** It is not compatible with all mobile devices or is a compatible app for some software, and browser only, which does not work effectively. AS system run takes a long time, which makes time to process urgent PO's. I really don't have to consult any manuals and can find my way around without too little help. Everyone at work seems to like it too. As a programmer, I am used to applications that are difficult to handle. However, this is not difficult at all. I use this extensively at work. In addition, the program is very well liked by my co-workers in addition to myself since it's been the most versatile program I've used so far. I've never had anything that is able to run reports from databases and allows me to organize the data into an easily usable and functional manner. **What do you dislike about Oracle PeopleSoft?** Sometimes it is difficult to navigate and wish there was more helpful suggestions. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle PeopleSoft:** If you are considering using a software that allows you to effectively move inbetween many different types of databases and run inquires in an effective and efficient manner, you will benefit a lot from integrating Oracle People Soft into your company's framework and other areas. If you work with databases, this is a complete must. **What problems is Oracle PeopleSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have many Oracle databases that we access. We use it for policy, claims, and payroll and many other different functions. It's made it easier to organize data for many different purposes and makes it more understandable for the needs of internal an external facing clients.
