The built in query builder is more functional than any other ERP I have used before. In other ERPs (such as SAP ECC) you have to get access to somehing like SQVI which IT holds very closely. In PeopleSoft the query builder has some more restrictions on it making the amount of data that is returnable smaller, but broader access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Oracle PeopleSoft? I wish there was a way to enter in the name of the function within PeopleSoft I wanted to use. The only ways to immediately access it are to follow the breadcrumbs, or save it as a favorite. I don't want my favorites list to get too large and clunky so I try to limit the amount of favorites I have saved. But, this means I often have to navigate through a long series of breadcrumbs. I wish we didn't have to make this choice and could just enter in "Function Name" in an entry field and immediately go to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. When we were integrating people soft into the new HR integrated system. We were easily able to transfer the data across and the systems were able to speak to one another. Automatically handles cache invalidation so you don't have to think about it. Oracle has also been focusing on naming the big column names. The only drawback is the sophistication of oracle applications. If the terminal user is unable to comprehend the program, it becomes difficult for the user. There are many apps that oracle provides to end users. Some characteristics that I find really useful are quicker and easier loading JSON, Automatic list partitioning, added PL / SQL code coverage, conversations of data sort, single statement table partitioning, etc. Oracle 12c has received a long list of advantages. Shared responsibility for supporting the environment system with OCMS (Oracle Cloud Managed Services) is helpful when dealing with hard to track down issues. It can take some time to get the necessary resource to troubleshoot but at least we're not alone as we don not have a development resource for the application. Depending on your issue or request, you will need to know which support area to assign your request. In many cases your issue or request will be reassigned to the correct group or sometimes even told to open up a case with the correct group. This can be frustrating and time consuming. We use our system to manage our indirect merchandise purchasing, This has allowed us to consolidate purchasing for our global footprint, supporting 700 facilities across the world. I like the ease of use and the user-friendliness. I really don't have to consult any manuals and can find my way around without too little help. Everyone at work seems to like it too. As a programmer, I am used to applications that are difficult to handle. However, this is not difficult at all. I use this extensively at work. In addition, the program is very well liked by my co-workers in addition to myself since it's been the most versatile program I've used so far.
