What do you like best about Oracle Linux?

Good customized packages for installation and running of Oracle database. I have been personally using many versions of it. The 7 versions were pretty stable and good. But the 8 versions being used has many issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Almost all the services i use are hosted using Oracle Linux running servers and they all have been performing well. Patching and upkeep has been the main advantage using Oracle Linux. As my organisation is a large scale user of Oracle products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Linux?

I have used oracle enterprise Linux os for backup server and media server. Backup performance have been always good. Used other clients with different os and it worked well as well. Rman backup is easily configured on this os.

Also, cloud support is there. All oracle products are supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Linux?

OEL adoption outside oracle is limited and not much enterprise is using it currently even though the kernel is stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
