Need to employ heavyweight technical DBA's - Only support in Oracle Cloud not AWS or Azure **What problems is Oracle GoldenGate solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multiple database migrations in real-time with no down-time ### 2. It works better then dataguard **What do you dislike about Oracle GoldenGate?** It is too expensive. We don't deploy Golden gate as much as data guard **Recommendations to others considering Oracle GoldenGate:** It works well, but it is expensive. It also depends on the work load. preferably large **What problems is Oracle GoldenGate solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves our disaster recovery. The recovery works well ### 3. It stores all data you could ever need for products and has the capability to changes all different aspects of products for our site. I like that each department throughout our company can make and save changes so we are all contributing. **What do you dislike about Oracle GoldenGate?** The functionality is outdated. It's complicated trying to make changes; sometimes changes are not allowed and I have to completely exit the oracle application and go back in to make changes. The design is not appealing and looks outdated as well. Sometimes it can be hard to navigate and know where certain information is held. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle GoldenGate:** It is not the easiest functionality wise. I would say it is old school, but it definitely gets the job done correctly. **What problems is Oracle GoldenGate solving and how is that benefiting you?** When costs, prices, shipping prices, other specific SKU information needs to be changed, we can make those changes in Oracle in bulk or individually. It's nice to see who made changes and when the changes were implemented for our products. ### 4.
