Oracle Financial has a lot of great things to offer. First, it comes with APIs that allow integration with several third party software, which works great specially with most of the Oracle software. Second, it has a very powerful system for making inventory and tracking, that it's not only effective, but also works extremely fast, saving a lot of time for the rest of the actions. And third, Oracle Financial has a great customer support that can be helpful for anyone because it comes in several languages. It has some nice features too, such as the eBusinessTax tool, as it can be extrapolated geographically while still considering the tax legislation from any the country where you want to evaluate. We’ve discussed with some of our partners,and they had this issue and it took months to be done. Also, Oracle financial isn’t in the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials: Oracle Financial is a tool well-suited for medium or large companies, working internationally, with several headquarters on different countries. I personally consider that my place of work, a small size company, does not get the proper benefit to a lot of features that come with Oracle Financial, and that's because they're made to be used on bigger companies. We went live with Oracle ERP Cloud two years ago. This is a big transition for us since we were using PeopleSoft on premise. We currently follow a quarterly upgrade schedule which is much better than upgrading PeopleSoft that is usually a lengthy process. What do you dislike about Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials? There are some challenges with having SRs and enhancements resolved in a timely manner. Some open tickets are outstanding for many months without resolution. In some instances, our SRs were routed from one area to another multiple times before Oracle can figure out what the issues are. It has several useful tools, such as the Payment process, that’s able to support several types of payments like EFT, positive pay, check, etc. It allows to customize the PO and review print formats. As a user of Oracle Financials for more than 3 years, I can tell they have not improved the platform that much with every update. All the tools already integrated are great, but Oracle should work to make it even better. Another thing is that the Oracle Fixed Assets Module tends to show error most of the times it’s being used.
