Even though we're on an older version of Oracle (12.2), we continue to find bugs in the platform. The timeliness for resolving these bugs leaves much to be desired. As a developer on the World of Warcraft development team, we need to support an increasing number of players attempting to get into our game. In fact, most realm capacity issues are a direct result of limited database hardware resources. By using Exadata, we are increasing that throughput significantly.
