Ever since I've been introduced to Essbase - multi-dimensional database (which was around 12 years ago now), Ive never looked back to the more traditional relational databases. Greatest upside for me is the definition of multiple dimensions paving the way for different pivots and point of view analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I slightly dislike is the multiple scripting languages you have to learn like Calc scripts, MDX, business rules, and now groovy. WHy don't Oracle just integrate all these into one languge? Just pick one and stick with it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
