"My Career starts here - Eloqua"

What do you like best about Oracle Eloqua?

Eloqua is one of the best digital marketing tool i have come across. All my career of 4 years I have used this tool, and used it so extensively that I can easily point out the pros and cons of using this tool.

The UI is quite friendly, at first you might find difficulty while locating some of the options but once you use it for a week or you can easily navigate through.

It has powerful feature of Email marketing, Campaign Marketing, and all other features one want.

One of the most powerful feature of eloqua is its Insight feature. You cannot even imagine what all reports you can fetch through it's insight and what all dashboards one can prepare.

What do you dislike about Oracle Eloqua?

Sometimes, while accessing POD3 instances, Eloqua gives error for server issues or other internal error occurred kind of errors.

One thing to improve is that some of the features in Eloqua is still at E9, i would highly recommend the Oracle team to move whole of the Eloqua to E10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Drag & Drop Campaign Canvas

- Very simple Automated Programs even for who doesn't have IT skills

- Lead Scoring

What do you dislike about Oracle Eloqua?

- Full Integration: you have to hire a system integrator agency to do that or have a very skilled IT team. Could require several months.

- Cross Channel Tracking: if users switch between Desktop Computers, Tablets and Smartphone (like they do a lot) Eloqua often fails to recognize all the touchpoints and the complete user behaviour

- Website Analytics: while other Eloqua reports are very complete, the Website Analytics is basic. It's better to setup automatic link parameters inside the platform settings and use a professional website analytics tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before getting started you have to follow Oracle training webinars or subscribe to an Oracle Eloqua Bootcamp. Read every guide you can find. Subscribe to Topliners (Oracle's community) and don't worry of asking questions there. Search for an Oracle Gold / Diamond Partner that can handle an Eloqua Training. What problems is Oracle Eloqua solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a B2B business using Eloqua mostly for generating new clients. We generated new leads with very simple landing pages with forms then, thanks to the complete lead scoring system, we improved their conversion to prospects or to clients. Not just automation: our salesman can send personal emails to a single client with Oracle Engage, knowing their previous behaviours and their current lead score. Oracle Eloqua allows you to work with a central database, making very effective the analysis and reports that will come after it. This has represented a significance improvement in our work. But its biggest strength definitely is their support, as it's offered by the same community of Oracle Eloqua users. Oracle Eloqua is a great tool and I think it will be a great fit for experienced users. However, it tends to be frustrating for beginners (I have experienced this), and they will hardly get to use all the tools it offers. Oracle Eloqua is used in the Marketing department on daily basis. What do you like best about Oracle Eloqua?

Oracle Eloqua was a great platform to start my career with. The complexities of it actually paid off later down the road and made me understand email at a deeper level. I thought creating segments was very easy as well as creating triggered campaign series. The other thing I enjoyed about the platform was its user friendly interface. What do you dislike about Oracle Eloqua?

However, with all the new technology out there I think Eloqua has alot of catching up to do. Most platforms now have predictive anlaytics, drag and drop email builders, and more. I feel Eloqua has alot of technology catchup to do. Also the platform always was slow with bigger data sets, as well as crashed much too often for our liking. This is a self service platform! If you are a smaller company or a startup I would not recommend this platform as their level of support was not great and we had alot of overall issues with the platform they could not solve for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oracle Eloqua is a marketing automation solution for B2B marketers to track customers through all phases of the purchase cycle. Marketing professionals can create targeted campaigns across multiple channels, such as email, social networks, mobile, web and search. They can also track and analyze the results of their campaigns with integrated analytical tools.

I can recommend Oracle Eloqua as it integrates with many business systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM) and other third-party applications. This is due to the Oracle partner network of more than 500 suppliers, which allows companies to integrate any of the 700 applications. And since Oracle Eloqua is part of the Oracle Marketing Cloud framework, customers can integrate other applications within that framework, such as Oracle Social Cloud, Oracle Content Marketing, Oracle Content and Experience and Oracle Service Cloud. What problems is Oracle Eloqua solving and how is that benefiting you?

Oracle Eloqua's sales enablement features currently allow my company and the sales and marketing teams to work together to obtain new customers and revenues. Sales representatives can access more detailed information about the potential customer (such as the web or social activity) and send targeted emails that are tracked to help close the deal faster. The Oracle Eloqua sales enablement features are available through a Microsoft Outlook add-on or through the CRM. Getting insights could be a better UI for customer exp.

There are too many separate windows, which does not make for a good UX.
