What do you like best?
I like the organization of the product. Has several different functionalities. Reports are clear to read and give numbers as well as visual data in the form of graphs. I like how I am able to see all of my clients and my sales reflect daily. It gives me all the information I need to stay organized and hit my goals. It also breaks down my commission numbers and shows me my year to date numbers, month to date numbers, and week to date numbers. What do you dislike?
I have trouble logging in to web pages from certain browsers. When I log in, I will get a "Bad Manager" Access warning. I solve it by changing browsers and logging in on the new browser. Also, There can be pages with too much information. There is no guide on how to read the data and a lot of it is knowing what you are looking for before doing your research. As a user--primarily of the expense reporting module, as a submitter and an approver--the software gets the job done and has adequate notifications and simple statuses. Usability is kind of a disaster in E-Business Suite. It's not intuitive (if someone doesn't show you where to upload receipts for an expense report, you'll never find it), it often seems to require extra steps, and it can be difficult to figure out why you're getting a policy violation or how to fix it. The most helpful is the organization of its functions, Each thing an employee might need is easily broken down. Starting with the student self service center then pay slips and time card etc.. very easy to explain how to use for new employees and this being their first job. We use 12.1.3 - this version is still supported by Oracle but lacks several innovations of Oracle Cloud, or even 12.2. As a result, the forms feel something more like navigating Windows 95 and users may get frustrated with the experience. Not many upsides other than a good amount of basic functionalities that may or may not work with large complex businesses but a good option for a smaller newer business who will be willing to radically change their business way if they would like to use it out of the box.
