It is only SQL based language . Very difficult to code procedural.

What do you like best about Oracle Data Integrator?

ODI has been used lately in our company to develop some ETL's needed for data consolidation from diferentes rdbms. It works very well with sqlserver, mysql and of course with Oracle. It is a very powerfull tool with tons of options. en Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Data Integrator?

It's too hard to learn, trainning is definitly needed and is very expensive and long. Deploying then nfrastructure is not an easy ask either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Data Integrator?

It's easy to use, with drag and drop to build out the package and ELT flow. For staff who knows PLSQL, it's not hard for them to pick up ODI. Our enterprise project has been using ODI for nearly 3 years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Data Integrator?

It doesn't provide the near real time data replication function similar to OGG (oracle golden gate), but the scheduled jobs in ODI is still pretty neat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
