What do you like best?

I see how CX Sales can empower any organization to further their sales strategies, gain key insights into their markets and sales performance, as well as utilize it to build a 360 degree workflow around the sales functions and campaigns. With only utilizing maybe 25% of the function, we have seen significant gains in operational efficiency, sales performance, and next-level analytics that continue to drive efficiency and performance. What do you dislike?

If you aren't looking for a tool to drive HR, ERP, CPQ, Finance, etc. through your sales organization, then you will still need to be prepared to implement parts of tools you don't use. The breadth of business knowledge required to configure pieces of all these business groups is rare to find in one team, and so much of the power of CX Sales is "locked" behind knowledge gaps, or cost prohibitive consultant implementation costs. Smaller organizations, like mine, have a difficult time getting a good TCO from it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use CX Sales for integrative salesforce administration with corporate and divisional marketing groups. We use CX sales for higher education recruitment, as well as non-profit advancement donation management. The pieces we have been able to implement have been extremely helpful in maximizing our sales teams' time on key metrics they need to focus on instead of admin work. What do you like best?

Powerful simple tool to work with sales persons and sales teams, and service persons and orgs. Sophisticated platform that can present and crunch data usefully from the whole company and organisation, plus external/non-owned data. Easy intuitive use of the tool (browser and mobile app), does not need special training to use any of it. Lastly, lower cost than most, I guess it's lowest cost for its category. What's not to like in this product? Top quality, low cost, strong reputed producer for continuity.

What do you dislike?

Take the time to assess and evaluate tools. Software has commoditised today, it's a buyer's market. It is also a builder's market.

Medium to longer term thinking pays off!

Sales process and Service process.

Constant enhancements of the tool by us (apart from the quarterly tech updates the vendor makes) at very low costs is one benefit that needs highlighting here. As our use of the tool matures we expect to transfer more responsibility to the tool so sales and service staff can put more of their minds to their work; this tool gives us the confidence that our expectation will survive neatly over the long term. Tools are subordinate to the human mind, and have to be pliable so without much ado. We have no doubts Oracle Engagement Cloud can be that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Oracle, when used correctly can substantially assist with record keeping on many different types of equipment you use in industry. It's helped improve in my field in regards to maintaining maintence records and cost assist in new and old items worked on. What do you like best?

I like the ease of being able to create important, and pertinent, information in the system. Contact and Account Creation, working with Activities and Opportunities is a seamless process that doesn't take long and work effectively to assist the Sales Force with their efforts. What do you dislike?

The greatest challenge we face lies in two arenas. First, the ability for the system to detect duplicate accounts/contacts is both cumbersome and frustrating. So much time is spent by our Sales Force searching for already existing information. Additionally, when Oracle releases updates to the product, it often breaks already existing interaction with plugins and/or layouts. When this is done without our Sales Technology team knowing this is happening, it ends up creating a panic and reactionary mode, rather than our teams being able to proactively generate fixes when they are upcoming. What do you like best?

It is easy to use for a new employee, but can still be helpful for senior sales executives. Generally intuitive, and the defaults can be customized by the employer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It isn't as easy as I would like to search for a previous cold call, because they aren't given account status. Once a customer has an account, you can go back and retrieve sales notes for previous visits much more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customization and extensibility of OEC is constantly expanding. There is also a thriving community of developers to connect with and propose new enhancement ideas to Oracle. What do you like best?

The UX is very dated, and doesn't get good feedback from our user community. Some of the recently announced features look to address this, but we've yet to roll them out. The upgrade process was tough last year, but getting better, but still lacks automated environment deployment that makes complex for the team to test each quarter. What do you like best?

We like the process that is required and implimented as a result of using OSC. We work with MH and also use the funnel sales cloud that has helped our sales team focus on the right customers. What do you like best?

The flexibility allowed by Groovy to accomplish additional functionality to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Were to start...Administration of the system is a nightmare. User Creation: Do I go to Manage Users, Do I go to Security, Do I go to resource. Finding and apply the correct roles and policies without having to have a degree in 'What would Oracle do'. System is slow when doing admin functions such as creating fields, or editing page layouts. Software was never that easy to configure before! Most of my clients were happy with modern UI and ease of configuration. Even, Business users could make simple changes quickly without anyone's help.
