What do you like best about Oracle Application Testing Suite?

one of the best features that are available and adorable in Oracle application testing suite is Integrated testing solution. I am really impressed with oracle for coming up with such a wonderful tool for testing solutions. This integrated, full lifecycle solution enables you to define and manage your application testing process, validate application functionality, and ensure that your applications will perform under load. What do you dislike about Oracle Application Testing Suite?

Not much to dislike about this Oracle Application Testing Suite except for some features like object identification and performance. If there are improvements in object identification process, then this tool would be unbeatable. Also Oracle can think of coming up ways to improve performance too. What problems is Oracle Application Testing Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Automated functional and regression testing of web applications. Also used for functional and regression testing of Oracle packaged applications. This is one of the best integrated tools available in market for Integrated testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform for Oracle Developers!"

What do you like best about Oracle Application Testing Suite?

I have been an Oracle and SQL programmer and developer for over 10 years now. In the testing suite, I loved being able to create a ServerStats monitor. Being able to use the metrics available and the generic metrics, I have been able to seamlessly run the load test and compare my absolutes. Also being able to clone the metric profiles saves time and money in the testing environment. I used this for my Oracle and SQL Databases, web servers and APIs. What do you dislike about Oracle Application Testing Suite?

There isn't much I really dislike about the platform. As the developer, I need to be able to test every aspect of the server to make sure that our applications will run with few bugs. The ServerStats is a comprehensive system that allows me to look in every nook and cranny. More reporting would be handy to have and the price is a bit high for smaller corporations. We have less than 15 employees so the pricing ended up being a bit steep for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Oracle Application Testing Suite:

Oracle continues to be innovative - when I look back at Oracle 10+ years ago and look at it now to see how much has been improved, it amazes me. Through their innovations, they will continue to make products that are easy to use from the administrator to the user levels.

We are a small company so pricing has limited our use of it at this time. Once we grow more and the need necessitates it, we do plan to implement Oracle Application Testing Suite back into our company budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The use of metrics in our testing systems has allowed us to find the errors that we used to have to write long code for. By using the system we can identify the problems, fix them and put them back out into the testing environment to make sure that all of our fixes work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
