Oracle Analytics Cloud also brings together robust and scalable cloud computing to run and connect either live or cache your datasets and optimize queries to run and return results. The built-in machine learning and AI functions within Oracle Cloud are up-and-coming, and they provide regular updates to those features to augment your analytics. **What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?** The out-of-the-box visuals do leave more for the user to be desired. Query performance can sometimes get bogged down when connecting live, so I recommend optimizing the backend data queries/tables to ensure more performant querying to meet SLAs. The gauge graph doesn't seem to work quite right most of the time. Changing the backup storage user password every 60 days. I don't feel that error codes are always very helpful. Sev 1 tickets are a lot harder to get resolved than they should be. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Analytics Cloud:** Consider everything that is in the same price range and make sure you get what's necessary for your business. **What problems is Oracle Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We get some general sales data, some financials and production metrics through OAC. The environment setup was supposed to be easy but even via online help chat the Oracle assistance couldn't figure out how we did the original setup. Tool works well out of the box and integrates well with Oracle products. Allows for speedy analysis for enormous data sets that may have not been accessible without a BI tool. **What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?** Nowhere near as sleek as the BI leaders such as Tableau. Does not provide the east of adding additional data sources without lots of complications. Features feel outdated to other BI tools. Does not have the community support that come with other applications. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle Analytics Cloud:** I would reccomend a more flexible and richer product like Tableau that isnt meant to only play nicely with partnered data sets.
