**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I like the modern design of our company’s e-boards. The sales and support team was a pleasure to work with in the transition.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I disliked the process in ordering devices when an PO was issued. It was a simple process not well comunicated at the beggining.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving a huge security issue that our previous partner couldn't resolve. And the modernization of these boards is awesome. This is not just a basic slide but with videos and integration into common applications.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

It is very user friendly. There's a minor learning curve the very first time you use it, but it is very easy to get the hang of.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

When changing the timespan for different images or video elements, there's a bit of an updating delay. So sometimes if you have moved on to adjust the time of another clip, your changes don't get saved. Then you have to redo it and give a pause each time.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure I'd say it is solving a "problem", but it is making it very easy for us to update our slideshow as we cycle through new events.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I love that I can post screens right from my desk and it's instant.  There isn't any complicated equipment or software -it's web based. I also appreciate the customer support. They respond very quickly and answer our questions.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

There are so many new features that I haven't had the time to explore yet. Once I do, I am sure I will find OptiSigns more helpful than ever.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a welcome screen displaying the weekly schedule for guests using our conference rooms, as well as promotional signage for our programs.  Other products we tried in the past were too complicated or did not work.  This works like a dream.  There are many visually appealing templates that can easily be edited, making it quick and easy.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

It is pretty intuitive, and I like the ability to pull directly from a Google Drive. It is easy to manipulate and display things on vertically oriented tvs.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

It is really expensive for the service. We definitely under utilize the software and is able to do way more than what we need, which is nice, however we don't need the extras. So for the minimal use we need, it is an expensive premium. A lower cost, limited access, budget option would be nice and we would personally really benefit from it.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to display the same grphics on multiple devices at once without having to manually upload and change graphics constantly. Saves me a lot of time weekly to go into one drive folder, change the graphics, turn on the tvs, and move on to the next piece of setup.

We are using OptiSigns to build colleague morale by using the displays to highlight special events for employees, colleague birthday's and work anniversaries, and to ensure there is a place where employees can go to know about important deadlines or other work related business.

I appreciate the convenience of being able to present my slide decks to students across our center which serves thousands of students yearly. I also appreciate how easy it is to use. I also like the dedication towards the CRM from your marketing/relationship team. I love staying updated about optisigns.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I think just making the user interface a little more simpler and more directional to effectively use it would be helpful.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team was stumped on how to keep students visiting our center informed about all of the happenings within our center. As a college, we do not have priority funding for strong marketing campaigns and such. So, we rely heavily on TV screens within our center to educate students on our offerings. As we increased our TV screens, we needed a convenient way to keep all of them consistent with our content. We also use it to give staff shoutouts to boost workplace morale within our own team.

  ### 8. Easy Image Uploads, but Occasional Google Calendar Sync Bugs

It's easy and quick to push some JPEG / PNG.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I think there is some bugs sometimes, for example when you connect some google calendar, the info are not update on screen.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use optisign in 2 screens and since a few days one of them don't work even when I push the same ressource. It used to work on this screen so I don't get it. Also, when we want to push a ressource such as a calendar, the event are not accurate and updated well. I don't know where and how to search help

Since I work remotely, I don’t actually get to see the end result. Still, the concept is solid, and I really appreciate being able to pass information to my colleagues quickly without interrupting them.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

Multiple times I have updated a slide, removing outdated information, saving, and pushing the new version to screens, only to come back the next day to find the changes were not retained.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't say what problems there might have been, but I am able to keep the shipping team informed of incoming trucks.

The ease of changing the content on the screens. It is a very useful tool to centralize advertising and communication content in a much faster and more precise way. In addition to having integrations with other apps, which I consider to be very fun and functional.

It seems to me that the cost might be a bit high. Also, I have had difficulty nowadays with the programming of turning the televisions on and off.

It solves the need to use USB on televisions and quickly change any video or promotional piece.

I appreciate how user friendly OptiSigns is. They make it very easy to design engaging slides from scratch in the platform along with providing many great templates. It is also very easy to move slides in and out of playlists and a great collaborative tool.

There is nothing particular about OptiSigns that I do not like. I have had a good experience with the platform since I've started using it over a year ago.

Its easy to to update across all locations.  super easy to setup And i like the plugins. Also the sales staff is not pushy.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I woud like more features in the BI plugin.  I cant update my screen with live information.  I can only update every 600 seconds.  I need 60 seconds at a minimum.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had white boards in our restaurants.  People write on it every day by hand.  But the optisigns allow us to share live data.  Also, we can add the current news letter and all of our staff can see it instantly.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

This product is extremely easy to use and set up. Previously, we only displayed a basic slideshow on our TV, but now we are able to incorporate features like weather updates, Google reviews, our YouTube page, and interactive elements such as sports scores and trivia for our showroom. The overall experience feels much more professional! Also the cost of $10 a month per screen is very affordable!

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The only drawback was that I had to buy a separate device to display it correctly, since the app was no longer supported. Aside from that, we really enjoy using it!

Every single customer who walks in the door is now seeing our 5 star reviews and watching videos we spent a lot of time making but have only been on our facebook page.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I like the flexibility of being able to empower our internal teams with the ability to manage content they present to team members without requiring any intervention from IT to do so. It helps deliver company content in a timely manner and gives us the flexibility to where we have things displayed and how often. It helps us to inform team members on a daily basis and requires minimal effort to load and configure the schedule. The ease of integrating to the devices we display to makes it easy to connect to the network (and off you go!).

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The way devices are counted for testing was slightly confusing but with some training became manageable.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OptiSigns lets our internal communications be cascaded to screens in the appropriate areas so that team members can be informed around hard and soft deadlines (birthdays, food trucks, benefits enrollment, events, etc). Additionally, it lets our technology teams display BI screens to certain areas of the floor to help show our current performance to date for SLAs.

OptiSigns solves the problem of "setting and forgetting". No more needing to make sure an outdated image is removed after it's expiry date

The biggest challenge I had was in the scheduling of content.  On my old system I could duplicate a day, and it would overwrite the days it's being copied to.  I unfortunately assumed the same operation and it created a mess on the days with duplicate events.  I fixed this and now better understand the process.

We have multiple users use Optisigns everyday for 3 years so far. It is very user friendly from basic to some advanced features and even the more complex and advanced features are simple to learn and implement with minimal learning effort. There are of built-in templates, graphics, and effects and even more options for importing (and quickly/easily) displaying content made in other applications. We are able to incorporate videos, QR codes, and live social media widgets by just dragging and dropping.

Very easy to create timed full-screen slideshows/rotating signs and schedules for time sensitive menus/content.

Remote editing and updating is crucial to our business and Optisigns does it from any device with internet connection and we have never had an issue the server being down.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The text editor can be wonky - the font size often does not scale properly with its bounding box.

Object Layering/Layout could be more forgiving - video and gif objects always have to display in the foreground, limiting some creativity for some advanced-expert designers.

Creating engaging live menus at the restaurant and updating them 24/7 from anywhere

I appreciate the simplicity of the platform. Uploading the menu is straightforward, and the uploads are completed quickly.

I’m not sure if it’s just me not having taken the time to learn everything, but I sometimes find the system difficult to navigate. I haven’t figured out how to use the scheduling feature yet. We aren’t using it at the moment, but it would be helpful to have that option in the future. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints. Everything else works very smoothly.

Optisigns has solved our daily menu screen needs. We upload about six menus every day above our kitchen lines, all within the same restaurant. Currently, we create the menus in Canva, download them, and then upload them to the screens using Optisigns. Previously, we used a different program for this process, but it was very slow and required many more steps before the menus were finally uploaded. Optisigns has definitely saved us time. I also taught my colleague how to use it, and it was very easy for them to learn.

Optisigns has worked the whole time we have used it as our presenter of information at work across 3 screens. The screens are on all 7 days of the week, 24 hours a day. The variety of features is great - you can add your own presentation, the news, weather, announcements, all sorts! Integrating it into the system is also very easy and the allowance for multiple screens at a time is very handy. There are also tutorials and walkthroughs to help out.

At first, it may be a bit overwhelming and unless you have spent time looking at all the tutorials, you may find yourself getting a bit stuck at times.
The news doesn't always seem to be up to date, but that may be a refresh issue.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

The variety of features and Apps as well as the flexibility of instalment, especially not having to use an OptiSign player by directly installing the software on our Samsung Signage Displays. These Players are sometimes a bottleneck, as our displays are installed in various spots, that are often difficult to reach, so there's one reason less, to make the hassle of getting at the back of them just to look if the player is fully plugged in.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I mostly dislike two things. One is more obvious, the other one a bit special:

1. Not being able to only give users access to selected displays. We use many displays as menu boards at our concession stands. Our POS Registers run on Windows, so I would love to just give them the option to open chrome, log in to OptiSign and control display above them. They should only be able to switch between our menu board playlist and the “Currently Closed” Asset.

2. A MovieDB Integration would be wonderful to directly source poster assets and other marketing material, but that's only relevant for cinemas, so this won't be a disadvantage for most users.

It's a user-friendly platform with a fast learning curve

Sometimes the system keeps uploading files that are in use so when you upload new files they end up replacing the previous ones.
I also don't like the fact that there is no "trash bin" to recover wrongly cancelled files

OptiSigns catches the attention of people, so there is better communication in the parish

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I use OptiSigns to promote two different businesses, and it’s been a great experience from day one. Setting everything up was super easy — pairing screens, uploading content, and scheduling messages only took a few minutes.

What I really love is how simple it is to manage everything from one place. I can update signs for both businesses from my laptop or phone anytime, which keeps things fresh and relevant without needing to be on-site. Lots of great design options and templates, too.

The platform makes it easy to create playlists, schedule content by time of day, and show exactly what I want for each location. It’s flexible, reliable, and a huge time saver. I use it weekly, and it pairs well with our social media messaging. 

Customer support has also been excellent whenever I’ve had a question. Overall, OptiSigns gives me a professional way to promote both of my businesses — at a great price. Highly recommend!

The interface could be easier, smoother.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

We’re very happy with OptiSigns.  Currently using as a hotel reader board, we manually add content to display meetings in house and updating content is quick and straightforward, allowing us to change messages, promotions, and announcements in real time.

The design looks modern and professional, and the system has been reliable with no major issues so far.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

nothing that is OptiSign's fault, but wish it integrated with our sales management system

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it solves our issue of no longer having a reader board service - the cost to upgrade old system was 100 times what we pay for OptiSigns, but we manually load daily events, which is the only downside

It's a clean solution for the case where you already have an Apple TV in place where you'd like the slides to go.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

We have had the slides freeze or the app fail, requiring an Apple TV reboot. We wanted a solution that was hands off and automated, but this requires occasional hands on to work properly.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OptiSigns allows us to have slides that automatically rotate on several TVs at once. Since we can update the slides through a browser, we don't have to go to each TV in order to update the slides being used.

You have to buy a memory stick from them, which is expensive, or else you will not have enough memory.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

OptiSigns has been a reliable, easy-to-manage digital signage platform for our internal communications at Spectrum. We use it to broadcast company news, updates, and internal messaging across multiple displays, and the content management experience is straightforward. Uploading and scheduling content is simple, the templates and layout options help keep screens consistent, and remote control makes it easy to update screens without needing hands-on access. We also like how quickly we can deploy changes across many displays and maintain consistent branding across the organization.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

While OptiSigns generally performs well, there are aspects that could use improvement. Certain advanced settings and features require a learning curve, and the interface can sometimes feel somewhat crowded, especially when handling many screens and playlists. We've also noticed minor delays when updating or syncing content across several displays. The addition of more built-in reporting and analytics, as well as better organization tools for managing larger deployments, would enhance the experience. Although support is helpful, having clearer documentation for complex configurations would help make the platform easier to learn.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OptiSigns helps us solve the challenge of keeping internal communication consistent and timely across our locations. It allows Spectrum to broadcast news, company announcements, and internal messaging across all screens from a centralized dashboard. It also supports our branding needs — we use it to cast the Spectrum logo across all displays to maintain a clean, professional, unified look. This reduces manual effort, improves visibility of important updates, and ensures messaging stays current without needing local staff to manage content screen-by-screen.
