In a short time you can build a page that does what you want. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** Although you can show something beautiful in a short time, the possibilities for when you want something more are limited. With the different APPs/APIs you can quickly put something together, but the further refinement, for example adjusting colours, is not possible. I didn't find that with the more expensive subscriptions either. I have a BrighSign, so the capability should be there. There is not an easy way to return to the main screen to select schedule etc.. i find myself having to hit the back button on the browser. **Recommendations to others considering OptiSigns:** If you are stuck using your display hardware stock software, this will be a game-changer. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** we have a new theater that needs signage for ticketing and upcoming events. the staff running the theater does not have high Tech skills. It's not hard, but I think a little polishing would make it even better! **Recommendations to others considering OptiSigns:** I've demoed a few systems in this price range, this one seems to be solid. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use USB drives to display my restaurant menus--I have 6 monitors in 3 locations. I have to drive to each location, climb up a tall ladder, pull the usb drives, come down to my laptop, upload the new image, reinsert into TVs, then test. That can take up half my day! You do not need to be an IT professional to configure optisigns for your business needs. I also liked the fact that even if there is a disconnection of your internet the content is still live on the screens and does not affect the ongoing operations. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** There should be optional initial configuration support that should be provided to help users who have very little experience with digital signages at the time of setup or once payment is configured, Roles and Security should be available in the standard version, 24/7 Chat or call support should be available at all times. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** Well, we have a lot of Retail F&B concepts and my team had to manually insert a USB stick every time there was a change in the menu. Optisigns reduced the workload tremendously and optimized the workflow when it came to retail marketing. ### 36. All we needed was a monitor with a HDMI input and a Firestick or similar Android TV device. 15 minutes later we are up and running. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** The user interface is not as intuitive as I have encountered with other digital signage solutions, but I can't really complain for the price. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** With OptiSign we have been able to display program information that is current and relative from a single dashboard. If a program update is needed at one location but not the others, we can easily execute it from the main dashboard with no effect on the other locations. Awsome! ### 39. We use OptiSigns app on Fire Sticks to display "digital posters". The ability for the app to launch automatically on startup is an essential feature since many of our signage stations are deployed remotely at various locations. The ability to assign expiration dates on assets is also crucial. This feature is helpful because expired assets will stop broadcasting even while set to a live playlist. The app will work with or without wifi by caching contents onboard the device, which is very important at locations with unstable wifi. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** Moving assets and playlists from folder to folder is available, but I wish it was a simple drag and drop feature. The ability to adjust thumbnail preview of assets would be a nice feature. It also would be helpful when setting expiration dates for specific assets to see the Information on a larger thumbnail preview. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous digital signage system was unintuitive and difficult to use; the hardware was unstable. OptiSigns solved those issues with a super easy, intuitive interface and application that works well with inexpensive and stable Amazon Fire Sticks. We spend less time and resources from having to troubleshoot constantly. ### 40. OptiSigns is affordable and has many of the features I am looking for. The second most important feature is the ability to run on a web player (browser), and this is one of the few software solutions that I've found that can do that. I like the widgets (apps) and the ability to customize one of their many templates. I found the interface easy to use **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** The ability to overlay items is possible with this software, but doing so breaks the streaming music when using a web player. I am told they are looking into fixing this. The traffic app likewise does not work on a web player. I wish it had a few more apps, but for the price I'm willing to sacrifice those features. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** OptiSigns allows me to remotely provide information to my guests.
