Very disappointed with the Free subscription option **Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jussi V. | Partner and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025 **What do you like best about OptiSigns?** I don't have much positive to say, as I thought I would be able to display a website constantly on a screen with the free subscription just by purchasing the HDMI stick and even investigated the matter before making the purchase only to later found out that the one feature that I needed was supported only by free trial of which was activated automatically so that I did not even make note of it. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** The monthly fee of 10 USD is very high compared to the need to just show a web page on one screen and make update to the web address once every two months. I will discontinue using this and get an option without any monthly fees, which luckily are available. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** It would solve the problem of having one web page displayed on a TV, but since that would cost 10 USD a month it is not worth it. ### 2. Cumbersome and Glitches **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024 **What do you like best about OptiSigns?** I like that I can update the software from my office computer and it is then broadcasted to both our break rooms in seperate buildings. **What do you dislike about OptiSigns?** It is cumbersome. I would like to update my slides without having to save it as a jpeg when I'm done. It would be nice once I update my templates, that they would seamlessly update the slides on the playlist. Also, I bought two brand new (2024) roku tvs and am using the OptiSigns app that I downloaded on the tv. For whatever reason it bumps me out of the app about 4-5 times a day. There have been a couple times over the months when it actually plays throughout the day, without me making any settings changes. But most of the time, it kicks me out of the app and then I need to get the app up and running again. This has been beyond frustrating. I paid for a year, but if I can't get this glitch fixed, I will be changing to a diffrent sign company. **What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it for my employee pictures, so everyone knows who works in which departments within the company. We have almost 150 employees, so it's nice to use the signage for this. Also, I use it to announce upcoming events, holidays, or special acheivements. **Official Response from Kate N:** > Hi there, Thank you for your detailed feedback! Once you make changes to your templates using our template or designer app, simply click the save button, and the updates will automatically sync and reflect in your playlist.
